It is disgusting how the father and his family seem more concerned about being judged for giving a child predator access to their home and daughter / granddaughter than being a voice for her safe return. Even if a man, you **kind of sort of** know, doesn't show up on any kind of registry, and you are not aware of any other type of criminal history for him, unless you've known him your entire life, he probably isn't somebody you should leave it alone with your child, no matter which gender your child is. The vast majority of offenders haven't been caught yet, and many of them will never be caught at all, so they won't show up on a registry. You can't just depend on a registry and assume any name that doesn't show up there is a properly safe person.

My mother allowed multiple predators and drug addicts to be in my life when i was a preteen and teenager. Im very traumatized from that time in my life and i was never even abducted. I’m so sorry for your trauma sweetheart it truly is tragic that those who should be caring for precious children are so flippant with their wellbeing and care. I pray that you find peace and overcome the pain it’s sounds as if you suffered and always remember that those moments may be part of your past and come to mind but don’t allow those people to take another moment of your precious life from you. Sometimes you even have to be careful with certain family members. But my goodness, even if this person did not have to register as an offender, that might've just been because he had a plea bargain that reduced the charges. And plenty of offenders haven't been caught yet, so nobody knows about them in the first place. You just don't let your kid go somewhere with a man, even if she did miss the bus and needs a ride to school.

It's early in the investigation and they're not going to tell the public all of the details yet. They are going to try to find Audrii first before the different law enforcement come together to finalize charges.

Praying for all of those diligently searching for Audrii and the Sheriffs Department for handling this case with due diligence as it is so important not to cause anything to interfere with prosecution of someone who possibly has committed an intentional crime against this precious little girl, we all want to see her safely returned but if not then for justice to be delivered. Praise God each day that you are holding your babies close and always be diligent to insure your children are safe and cared for. God bless you all and bring Audrii back and supply her with a safe home to live in.

Could be. Maybe he has a partner in this. Also now with this case blowing up they need to keep this sicko safe inside till we know what happened. He will have a green light on him and won't be safe with other inmates. As a father this is nightmare fuel.

It sounds like this creep is trying to mislead the investigation and send the police on wild goose chases. I hope that they find Audrii alive and that she is brought home safe but I also have a terrible sinking feeling that this might not be a happy ending. Especially after they found that wet backpack. I will continue to pray for her and her family.

Your main person of interest will never confess. Did she carry a cell phone? Check his cell phone GPS, search, use dogs, rescue that poor girl!!!. Hoping she is still alive. 🙏
