indeed yes... not that I mind in this case. what is ridiculous however, is when the algorithm sees fit to recommend a whole bunch of news programs from several years ago... that I've already seen besides... as sophisticated as the algorithm is, there are some things it does not understand. maybe it's not so much sophisticated as merely complicated, and stupid in the ways that only a computer program can be... peace.

A lot of science and math videos made by white men have been flagged and banned lately because of "sexism" and "racism". Apparently, there's some batshit crazy theory going around that math and science are sexist and racist, because white men tend to dominate the science and mathematics fields. So you end up with poorly researched videos by "Physics Girl" making the top of KZread's trending list and getting interviews with KZread's CEO, while amazing channels like this one are getting banned for arbitrary nonsense.

I think it's just all about the sweet moneyyyy. Girl makes stupid nonsense content. Everybody watches her shit. She gets great sponsors because everybody is technically being forced to watch her. She makes massive amounts of money and so does youtube itself. And we. We are just left here looking like dipshits who think "Oh hey! I watched this cute youtuber girl yesterday who said that mixing gasoline with fire equals beautiful sun light! Cool right? Right?" Yeaaaa.... we don't really benefit from that.

The problem is that the people in charge are not educated in most of these topics so they have no idea which ones are actually educational and which ones are just idiots doing dangerous stuff. Like the channel taufledermaus, they test shot gun shells in a safe environment and in a scientific way. Alot of the shells they test are homemade designs sent in by viewers. But youtube just sees it as gun=bad, so the channel has a huge issue with demonetization. They have to go way out of their way to make sure the word gun doesnt show up anywhere in their titles or videos otherwise its instant demonotize from KZread.

Although not the same genre, You forgot the leg man just kicking a freaking wall also got recently struck for 'hate speech'. KZread's system is just mental atm. I mean, yeah sure, mixing random chemicals without any knowledge about them can be dangerous, however the videos of Cody and styro (and many others) are educational af and not going to cause any harm, compared to (and I just checked it) some crazy russian's Darwin award worthy video where he 'hacks' a homemade AC, which runs on dry ice, uploaded 4 years ago and still has ads on it. Styro, hang on! Try to get in touch with other creators like Cody and all the other chemistry channels or H3H3, Boogie2988 who are afaik decent people and got some experience with the whole YT BS.

In my opinion you have done nothing wrong. Non of your content has been in any way objectionable. In fact your channel is informative safe and fun. Someone is screwing with you. Codyslab has also seen this type of thing happening. There is a group of really crappy people secretly taking down channels they don't like, probably for money. KZread needs to investigate. KZread is being manipulated.

Jim Williams it’s not them, although they won’t help, it’s KZread itself in fact, anything that doesn’t fit their leftist views or money making ways unfortunately is being shut down, I don’t know how much you know about the political side of things but I would say it wouldn’t hurt to have a look around at what’s happening at the moment, comedy is dying, people can’t speak freely without worrying about being banned and all the fun channels are being shut down because they simply don’t do what KZread wants.

youtube is a commie filter - it's only now people are seeing it on a wider scale. Certain channels have been taken down repeatedly for years. Now anything that isn't brain dead and designed to lower social cohesion is in danger.

Hey just a heads up, KZread is now censoring certain users from commenting on your videos. I've tried to post with a few different accounts now, and even done some tricky VPN stuff and only finally now, over an hour later is my comment going through (on my 4th account attempt). My original comment that I believe got me censored from you is that I was trying to tell you that it's time to find a new platform for sharing these educational videos. The variable allowing me to comment was changing my IP. This is a fact that they are keeping you away from communicating with your viewers. I hope if you ever have the spare time you can help invent a platform better then youtube, we all know youd do a way better job then these clowns now running the show.

That's not what you think, youtube comments run on a system that scans for words after 20 seconds of posting, and if you post words (or sentences) that are not allowed it will be deleted after that However in order for this to happen, an account must be flagged and reported previously, additionally chat restricted by youtube staff after review In other words, this only happens if you've been confirmed toxic before and got reported for it, and the accounts you're posting from had all been reported for positive toxicity Source: can't tell

hey. I've been following your channel since the beginning and am a long time laser hobbyist who got his first expensive laser when in 7th grade (back in 2008). I paid close to $500 of my own hard-earned money for a 5mW rated 473nm blue laser from the now defunct TechLasers. It is a CNI model identical to Laserglow's Aquarius series. I'm with the KZreadr's Union started by JoergSprave, the Slingshot Channel. I highly recommend that you join this band of people who have had enough of KZread's bullcrap. It is most unfortunate for me to see so many of my favorite people on KZread falling victim to the very platform that was once so great.

completely depends on the laser. my laser bazooka had a ~5min runtime, but others could be left on continuously for over a day

I feel the same way, over at G+ we had a nice group of folks who argued commented and just plain interacted on many topics, until the religious conservatives swooped in and made it all miserable, they were rude ignorant and blatantly attacked in numbers, it was clearly organized and it worked, they operated between the lines, they used politics religion and ethics to start arguments on every topic of discussion they could, only a few of us interact on G+ any more, this sort of thing needs to stop, it’s an effective tactic, utterly childish in form and execution, I’ve run into the same thing to a lesser degree over at Reddit, they laugh when I call them out, a defiant show of pure ignorance, perpetrated by small minds with nothing better to do with there time, the last laugh will be on them when they look back at all the wasted time of the short lives god gave them, best of luck fellas, long live science, the never ending gift god gave us.
