Look how much LOGIC Don King has. Bob Arum was actually promoting fights in South Africa during Apartheid, Don King just promoted the boxer who was from South Africa, thats not the same. Then Don King let Roberto Duran go to retire as he was over the hill and then Bob Arum gets him and makes money and then they say Don King is a fool and should have never let him go. He can't win.

@r3tr0actiongamer24 you wanna know who is a bad guy in the world of promoters? In my opinion. Dana White, that dudes operating in a full monopoly. King brought us good fights, paid his fighters millions upon millions, and had competitors such as Bob Arum, Cedric Kushner etc etc. He was magic at what he did for entertainment as a businessman. It was not a monopoly like the ufc, which I find disgusting the way those fighters are treated.

@@daz6704 No he didn't. Stop listening to uneducated GED boxers. They dont tell the full story. Tim was never promised 2 million. his contract was for 500,000 so that was a lie he came up with years later. He came in overweight so he got deducted from WBC. He had to pay taxes in Europe and US since the fight was overseas. He borrowed money from King before the fight. He got several rooms at a 5 star hotel. So by the time that was all deducted along with manager fees the check was $90,000.
