Respected didi Shivani, please allow me to say that your explanations are not rational. They are, in fact, mumbo-jumbo. All talks on karma, past livese, God, etc cannot be explained rationally. Every "guru" has his/her own "knowledge" on this. Please permit me to place the following to invalidate your explanations: 1. When bad happens to good people, you explain it as 'past life karma'. Meaning he has to suffer because he has wronged in his so- called past lives. So, here's a situation. A good person X and a very good person Y. Both are suffering despite being good. Now, IF good thing starts happening to person X, you will explain it as "it happened, because he has been good, in his present life. His good karmas in present cancelled his bad karmas of past lives". But, the very good person Y continues to suffer. If asked why the present-life good karmas led to good for X, but, present-life good karma had no effect on Y, you will say, "the quantum of bad karma must be very high for Y, so his continued suffering. How convenient ! No proof. Just guessing. No idea about past lives karma or even past lives, so any explanation will be accepted !! Now, let us dissect this so-called 'past life'. You say past life karmas are effecting our present life. So, the Q is : when a soul took the very FIRST birth, ( no preceeding birth, therefore NO opening balance for him), then on what basis did he suffer or had happiness? You will say, 'his behaviour'. This leads to another Q: Who or what made him do that behaviour? Who or What was the source of his thinking? What was the source of his decisions to do this or that, since, there was no preceeding karma? Some Power or God? IF, it is the so called God or Power, then THAT Power becomes the originator of all joys and sorrow? Then THAT Power or God starts the whole cycle? Do we really have any answer to these ? Actually No. Ma'm, the point is that we humans do not have answer to these questions. The only thing we can say with certainty is that we, as humans should : Think good, Speak good and Do good. Are there any proof of past lives? Are there any proof of God being there OR not being there? Are there any proof of the so called past lives impacting present? No. Mere conjectures. Forgive me for saying that your explanations or any explanations on these, feel less-than- honest. I admire you because you are a good person and a very good counsellor, but, am wary of these unfounded explanations, which are mumbo-jumbo.

Well said Dear. Just I would like to add to you. A karmic account is exactly the same as Bank account. You debit when do a wrong karma, You credit when you do a good karma. And the consequences of karma you have seen in your life. Every word you speak, any action you do or any thought you creation, all are vibrations that you send to universe and also store in your body cell in the form of memory. These are all recorded by even our subconcious mind. Thats how sometimes we all of a sudden recall our childhood incidents...suddenly dislike a person whom you never met....suddenly you fall in love with anything ,..all these are becoz you met them before. So how to do good karma ....just BE AWARE what you do....what you act....and what you think. You will see the difference and you would always create a good karma and reach to a different relm.

I also agree with you when you point out our inexplicable likes/ dislikes towards things&people. What I do not agree with is this past life "explanations". Even Buddha & RamKrishna Paramhans/ Vivekanand did not venture into past life explanations - because these are beyond human understanding. Why does respected Shivani ji dwell on this to create confusion and impart half-knowledge?

I do agree with you when I think and try to find logic but our brain and mind are different with own experience I am telling this these are those explanation that has kept me alive after losing one of my loved one.....not every action or reaction is predecided but yes the final truth of life is decided. In such situations our emotions doesn't require logic...it's the feeling. Your questions are correct our brain needs proof validation and validation comes only after experience, it's not that they are completely right but exact truth depends on what we believe, how we perceive, our perspective which is different for everyone

@sjagtap2498 you are right in saying that our heart and our mind follow different rules. Analysis and Qs satisfy the mind, but Emotions satisfy the heart. I question these "gurus" because I feel a TRUE guru should try to bridge the gap between Heart&Mind in an empathetic AND rational way. Instead, they take advantage of uncertainties so that people remain tied to them.

@@blessedaretheblessed1555 true some are there who take advantage but some are giving their best which may not be exact and final but in progress I am not follower of any of these but it's like following everyone and take only those morals or explanation which can balance our own brain and mind and keep a sync what else can be done. Don't know if human can ever get to know the exact truth abt this until then it's on going process and different for everyone
