Man it’s good to see this knife get an upgrade. Almost all of their knives are underrated. If you haven’t tried the Viking you absolutely should.

The titanium coating on the aluminum is pretty convincing in hand..the lighter weight is the giveaway but it's not a bad thing since the weight reduction is a bonus on this one🍻

I don't have a Petrified Fish knife yet. This one looks very good. I, like you, am a fan of aluminum and own several that I use a lot.

Not gonna lie. PF has been killing it on the carbon fiber Asher Spiros. Their detent is great and the action is insane for a $125 knife.

I have the og blue one, and the action on it is stupid good. Im tempted to pick up that brown with the black blade as it really looks good imo. I still can't get over how good the action is on this knife, especially at the price point. Glassy drop shut goodness.

Roll's been asking "Where is Premium Victor?" Many have been asking "What is Victor?" I am asking, "What's your vector, Victor?"

I was expecting this to be expensive as shit (I've been watching too many blade show videos) but it's actually super affordable. Very nice!

Spend the extra 20 bucks on this one. They're both great but to me it's not even close😂

Can’t wait to pick one of these up! Now, if only they would give the Beluga the same treatment. And I would kill for a Mini Beluga in S90V w/ titanium frame lock and milled Ti clip!

Ceramic coatings are cool, I loved the esthetics of the titanium coated version..honestly it looks and feels just like titanium...like I don't have enough titanium already😂

@@Rollshambolove the feel of titanium but just hate to carry it for EDC. My brand new Kubey Verijero is all scratched up and never been out of the house. I’m loving some ultem and of course micarta for EDC

@@RollshamboWell, I picked up the aluminum scale and 154cm in satin of the Victor, and I absolutely love it! Really nice knife.

Really excited for this one. Love the Victor. With the liner being inset/deleted, is this Victor any thinner? I liked how thick the old one was, but its not a dealbreaker if it is.

Exact same handlescale profile and thickness, a little less grippy than it's micarta counterpart but lighter and definitely more premium feeling in the hand..I believe this should have been an option from the start it's excellent

Is it premium, No its not. Is is more better, Yes it is. I skipped this last year but I plan on getting this more better version this year.

Does this have stainless steel washers between the ball bearing and the handle scale ? If not- then the scales will get deformed, eroded over time. The Sencut serene has them. Also please look with backlight is the linerlock contacting the blade tang with its entirety or only with a little tooth on the right side ?

I just took this knife apart to answer these questions. 1. The lockbar side has the bearing riding against the steel liner, the showside bearing is backed by a steel washer 2.the full amount of lockbar that is cut out to contact the tang of the blade is making contact with the blade, no issues there either This is not surprising to me, Petrified Fish is a great manufacturer

The scales on the more premium version need a milled, textured pattern for improved grippiness and aesthetics. With regard to the lanyard hole, your opinion is based on the erroneus assumption that a lanyard is only to increase purchase on the knife if it has a smaller than 4 finger grip. Lanyards come in more than one form. They are not just a tight weave/braid extending from the hole. You can buy lanyards that fit around your wrist to increase retention, particularly for self-defense purposes. I myself have a knife with such a lanyard that I carried when I lived in a bad neighborhood. The lanyard didn't serve to increase purchase on the knife, as it was a full-sized knife, but rather to prevent someone from taking the knife from me and using it against me.

I've seen/heard of people using lanyards in that manner but for me I don't so to me its just not something I want. If the option needs to be there I'd prefer to see it going through the backspacer instead of the scale as well🍻

And of course, exclusively for right-handers... Chinese manufacturers are boring as hell.
