I can honestly say I don't eat out much, I love cooking for myself. But I live in Indiana, originally from Boston, and the selection here is limited. En Lai is the best Chinese food joint in Lafayette, but the best of the best is definitely back home. Along with great Italian food. No Italians here in the Midwest, it's honestly sad.😪

No timers was my favorite part of 5 guys!! I miss being the most badass fry cook around.

Dave Thomas seems like he was an honest to goodness great guy all around. I hadn't ever tried a junior baconator in my life( or any burger before, I'm 45!) From Wendy's. Very good experience for me.❤️

The amazing things about Five Guys fries is they taste good wether they are hot or cold, which is good considering the massive amount they give you. Most fries lose flavor and coat your tongue with congealed grease as they cool. But Five Guys do not and you can continue to munch them joyously at your desk long after the burger has become a warm memory.

Bob Brooks, the Hooters founder, is from my little hometown of Loris, SC. Loris High School’s baseball field is named after him. His family donated money to have it built.

We used to have a Krispy Kreme in Bristol TN/VA on the state line, one time my son and I went around 2am and the employee's were riding the conveyor around like an amusement park ride, it was hysterical and the hot donuts were oh so good, nothing like the ones in the grocery store.

Cousin had Krispy Kreme doughnuts for desert at the wedding (along with other things), my wedding present to them was to get them a discount on them with my student card.

News flash...Google still responds to the Burger King ad. Mine just did exactly that.

I absolutely love that the Five Guys restaurant refuse delivery to the Pentagon. The restaurant stands by their, " no delivery " policy.

No Delivery means the establishment does not provide delivery service. We have lots of restaurants, all fast food places, etc in my city that do not deliver. However, All of them are on one or more food delivery services including two of my favorite eateries for the last 25 years that no longer provide delivery service (fallout from pandemic) because it's cheaper not having to hire delivery drivers any longer, if you want it delivered, you need to have it delivered from one of the delivery services. Thankfully in my small-ish beach town of about 26K,we have our own local delivery service that is much cheaper than the big name services. :)

What I know about Luther Vandross was that he had a very High carbohydrate diet and that the way he lost weight was that he stopped eating all the carbs and that's how he lost weight I would definitely say that was his favorite sangwich

The "carbs" aren't the "problem".....it's HOW MANY...you eat AND...what "TYPE"....of..."carbs"....you are choosing to eat? Can...ANYBODY...."really" and "heathfully"....remove...ALL..."carbs"...from their diet.....just NOT A VERY "REALISTIC" GOAL,....AS WELL AS BEING RATHER "USELESS" TOWARD WEIGHT LOSS.....JUST BECAUSE SOMEBODY MAKES A "BOOK"....OR EVEN MAKES A GD "STATEMENT"....DOESN'T MEAN IT'S THE "GOSPEL",....let alone,...the "TRUTH"!!!!🙄

Del Taco isn’t widely available. It’s mostly only in the Southwest, and a few locations in Atlanta and Columbia SC

5 guys uses Grubhub to deliver food in my area now.

The best burger I’ve ever had was a place called happy dog in my home town of Sonoma California. It was there for the 1st 30 years of my life, but sadly they shut down during covid. The absolute best

Any employee of any business should be able to buy anything on the menu with their discount without restriction in and outs employee discount rules are stupid

They don’t have to give you jack shit! There’s no requirement whatsoever that you get anything free from the place you work and many restaurants don’t give anything but a discount!

This is one of the things that annoys me. I was born in 1963 so I can safely say that I have memories from 1968. Usually coming home from visiting one of my aunts my family would pick up a few burgers on the way home. I would make my own double burgers. I remember when White Castle started putting the holes in the burgers. I also remember that in one of the bags was and index size card with an explanation for the change. It was stated that the holes were there for meat inspection purposes. I also remember that the burgers, called castles, were 18 cents.

Many restaurants give discounts to law enforcement, they do such because it provides basically free security for them. Some chains also give discounts to firefighters and EMT’s as well, it’s not that uncommon.

giving discounts to veterans is cool. Giving discounts to corrupt, bigoted, and unjust pigs? That's not cool. The cops can suck it! Some call center rang me up the other day. They started in on their spiel saying the police were being defunded and they were accepting donations for police families in need. I told him to shut up and said "fuck the pigs, and fuck you!". I can smell a pig from a mile away!

I've been to two Five guy burgers. First time in Alexandria VA was on. Second one was like 3 years ago at one in Dover/Somers worth not so good. I think it was because not only food cold and dry but the franchise were I was at was filthy. Employees certainly didn't seem to care. Never again.

News flash, I went to a Burger King the other day and was told that they don't sell salads anymore. I don't know whether it applies to all of them or just the one that I went to. Also Waffle house doesn't sell salads either. That's all of them.

Pandemic maybe? 🤷🏻‍♀️ There’s a sign in my town at BK, Waffle House, & Taco Bell that says “due to mational shortages we may not have fresh items such as lettuce & tomatoes”. Taco Bell is the only one that has never been out of those, but BK & Waffle House havent had either since the Pandemic. Idk if its just in my town & surrounding areas tho. Kinda weird, but i guess lettuce literally comes on just about every item, whereas BK & Waffle House only use those for a few items. I always suspected it was really just because fresh foods cost so much now.

The Hooters ladies were very nice when I ate there a few years ago. Personally I didn't see anything sexist here. Unfortunately the food was not very good. Never went back.

At the risk of getting boo'ed, In-n-Out is the worst burger joint I have ever been to. They have this "simplified menu" which they state is designed to make the ordering and assembly quicker and more efficient. However, not only was it NOT quicker and more efficient (it took 45 mins from ordering to pick up, and it was a slow day with few customers and lots of staff!), but what I got was an incorrect order that was small and tastes bland. So I won't ever go back there again. As far as my favorite burger joint(s), it is a tie between Ab's/Riley's, and Dairy Keen. The former has the best fries/Sandwiches, and the latter has the best burgers. The portions are respectable, and the flavor is to die for. They really know what they are doing.

Taco Bell used to be my favorite, especially when I managed a couple of them for a few years. I ate and breathed TB, even after I left the company. But sadly, over the following years, they went downhill. After changing their menu, and dropping all the items I liked, there was no point in going there anymore. And the irony was that the discontinued items were top sellers. Mystifying.

Stop cooking with peanut oil. So many are allergic. I can’t even walk in the door with out getting asthma.

I gave up on Five Guys they don't listen if you ask for a well done Burger.. they seem kind of fascist.. also turns out peanut oil is not as healthy as one would hope... although the fries are good arguably better than the burger... the burgers are kind of like Mom made them when she was mad at you

It’s definitely one of the best fast food burgers you can get. I’ve been all over the country and have only found a couple that were better. Add to that, In n Out is now a cheaper burger than McDonalds. Fries are terrible though.

The problem is their burgers might be good but everybody in California to rip you off State says their burgers are so expensive and they don't taste no better than any other Burger and when I go by or pass by a five guy restaurant I think about that and I never see nobody in a restaurant but when I go by any other restaurant is many many people specially in and out maybe if they bring a prices down people start going there cuz in and out got everybody customers period ⭐

Five Guys should be careful using shoppers I almost lost my Job because shoppers came in and hated me from the time I said Hello and seated them ,Thank Goodness I had intuition and went and told my Manager they hated me so she had another server be their server they said I wiated on them and gave the worse service ever Thank goodness we could prove they were not evenwaited o by me and they made the whole strory up they were identified with their guest check and we even had them on camera I was going to Sue them and the Company I worked for as it was obvious a case of Hating me because I am gay ,My company fired the secret shopping company and used guests surveys which is much better as you get more honest reviews even if you get 1 bad one the numbers show the truth . Mystery Shoppers are awful and can truly hurt peiople and a business .....

Umm no? Veterans sometimes get fortunate with a single free meal as do other uniformed services but free food all the time? Umm no. Offering a reward of a free meal is up to the foodie establishment but they should not be forced to conform to a pipe dream entitlement. If this were a requirement, the restaurant industry would collapse because of all the arm forces groups feeling entitled to free meals. Granted when a police officer is on food assistance because the city is too cheap to pay a decent wage, then something must be done to ensure the employees are taken better care of. Otherwise, everyone has to deal with life an death situations such as Firefighters, Sailors on dangerous fishing missions, even people carrying hazardous cargo such as fuel for the cars that drive everyday on the street. No one offers these individuals gratuities such as free meals on a regular basis. I do agree all uniform forces need to get better recognition but also get better training to deal with the changing community, such as diverse ethnic backgrounds.

Five Guys sucks, their burgers aren't that good! And the prices are way too high! Will never eat there again.

The employee thing is dumb at "in and out" they can get anything up too a double double but can't get animal style fries or a shake, come on man, they make the restaurant go in the first place... 💯

Most of these are failing, so the untold truth about them would be about their troubles.
