That’s so old last time I heard it I fell off my dinosaur and broke my wooden underwear.

He knows who to pick the right place’s to go to and eat the pizza where it’s made fresh and cooked very well with the right ingredients, and made with love heart understanding of who all that flavor to make a great pizza.

Pizza is the best food. So many variations and combinations. It’s a blank canvas. To do with what you want.

Beer culture is pretentious AF but ever hipster in Colorado thinks they're a brewmaster once that stupid mustache gets the pomade applied. 🤔Think that stuff reacts with hops. I like how the dough is fermented. Being from the Northeast, I compare all pizza to Brooklyn and Boston and this is one of the best I've had here. Plus they used to hook us up because we'd lend them semolina when they ran out.

Lake Tahoe Pizza Company in South Lake Tahoe has a homemade whole wheat crust that is amazing. Our two favorites are the "Gut Buster" for spicy meatlovers and my favorite the Spinach-Garlic-Seafood pizza with either pesto or white sauce. YUMMMMMMM

I have heard the same thing from other people. One time they filmed a show in Sparks Nevada at a barbecue restaurant. The last time I ate there the brisket was dry and even tough. I never get my barbecue place from that restaurant now.

I agree. I went to one here in Sacramento. They even had a "guy fiery approved" sign outside. When I tried to order the same plate from the show they said they don't have it! I was so mad. Wasted my time

I've gone to about six in the Chicago area and two of them were really good, one was the Vito & Nick's featured in this video the other was the boppin grill. There was only one that I really didn't care for.

Cool list but I think "Unique" would be a much better descriptor than "Best" as it seems to be the theme of the video isn't so much concerned with how good but how unique the pizzas are.

Italians are furious.

Hey, I remember Guy, trying the Funky Chicken Pizza and, singing How Funky is Your Chicken, How lose is your goose! He even called his mom on video chat to sing it because, apparently that’s her favorite song.

There’s a brewery in Poughkeepsie, New York named Mill house Tavern. They have a Pizza called the Fig and Pig. It has duck bacon sliced figs, arugula and a balsamic reduction on top. It’s one of the best Pizza I’ve ever had

I love Piccini’s in Ocean City. I didn’t know Guy dropped by for an episode. What a nice surprise. I was thinking the (relatively) nearby Carluccio’s Coal Fired Pizza in Northfield would be on the list (I knew Guy visited there) and it was. Both yummy.

@@jayamburn1959 hi there Jay! OC, MD is definitely nice. I find it interesting how it is so long and narrow as compared to OC, NJ and our other barrier islands. I feel like I could spit from the boardwalk and hit the mainland. I was surprised to see Kohr Brothers soft serve 🍦 as I thought they were strictly an NJ thing. I loved riding that haunted ride at Trimper’s that Bill Tracey designed/built, as he had several rides in Atlantic City and Wildwood, NJ that I remember fondly from my youth but are now sadly gone.

@@1313wikked I love the pizza at these places BUT not if I want traditional since the brick oven stuff is different. Good, no great, but different texture and chew. I guess I’ve had too much pizza to concern myself with such nuance and my belt size proves it. But there used to be a lot of mom & pop places around that all had the same basic pizza that I can’t get from a national chain. And certainly not down south. We know many friends and family members that have moved and say the bread and dough is not the same as up here. My take on NY pizza, I must say, is based on places like Benny Tu Dino’s in Hoboken which I was told was standard NY style pizza. Plenty of places like that back in the 90s (when I was in college). I never HAD to fold pizza before. The smaller and slightly thicker slices here at the southern shore and Philly area don’t need folding and I of course didn’t understand why (on occasion) I’d see people do that. THEN I came across the big thin slices that couldn’t hold there weight. Nice! I “got” it. Not many around here these days. A few on the boardwalk (more so in the past decade… kind of a new thing for the boardwalk). I also like, but put in a different category, the local “you must claim to like this or be shunned” pizza from Mack’s in Wildwood and Manco & Manco (formerly Mack & Manco if that gives a hint to the similarities) in OC. The sauce, from a hose (!), goes on top of the cheese in a spiral.

Here in Philadelphia, I reccomend a local spot known as 'Pete's Pizza' at 1913 N. 54th street. Their pizza and everything else is delicious; including their Buffalo chicken cheesesteak.😋my favorite pizza? Depending on my mood; meat lovers, hawaiian or a supreme with anchovies.❤❤❤

There's always bowling alley/hockey rink pizza.

Next review will be; The 15 best tasting paintings from the renaissance.

Angelo’s pizzeria is the best Italian spot in Southern California. Alhambra ca.

If it’s not New Haven Apiizza it’s not worth a sniff.

I miss going to nick and vitos (what we call it). But being on this show ruined it for locals. Wait used to be 15 mins. I went back to chicago when my mother passed.i couldnt go there because the wait was now 3 hours and they dont do take out.

Though I'm from Detroit, MI; I prefer Chicago & NY style pizzas. I'm a traditionalist RE: pizza (i.e.: ROUND).

When I make pizza at home I use a French baguette recipe for the dough. I make my own marinara and I crumble my own cheese blend ( usually mozzarella, muenster, Monterey jack and sharp cheddar). I never put on more than 3 to 4 toppings and the wildest pizza I make is a taco pizza that my family has been perfecting since the 70s

Back when the DDD show was very popular, I was able to try a bunch of the places, especially in NJ. I can't speak to all of them, but the ones I tried, most were not that good. One was a small place in Linden NJ I think, literally around the block from where I lived, no lines out the door, it was not packed with customers, and they must have brought someone else to cook that day, when I went it was barely edible. Most of the others the same, but one place in Boston or outside of Boston, was actually very good. Think it was a lobster ravioli, and despite the crowd, service was great and food was outstanding. Can't always trust TV, most of them know in advance, bring in the best people, advertise the event, and fill the place up.

@3:01... My NEARLY perfect Camaro. To make it perfect: 327. Dunno what the engine was. Paint: White with Orange hugger stripes on the hood and decklid. Finally. SS. Proper, All the Go-fast goodness. This car does not seem stock. Points for the vacuum headlight doors being improperly aligned and missing the triple white stripes, though. Red and Black SS '67 convertible with black headlight doors. Cool, but cannot put to together if that was stock for that year. That Z28 badge MIGHT be an aftermarket add-on. I could be wrong. Sorry, I came for the food, but an an F-body car nut. I have been wrong before. Thinking of the Indy Pace Car for 1969, initially.

Talking about NYC pizza without one from NYC? Well Jersey City has the best pie in NYC?!?!?

Come to Nashville IF you hate decent pizza! There is very little difference between store bought and handmade here. We have NONE of these offerings ..it's sad! Come for Country Music but don't expect the food to be anything special.

Taco pizza is nothing new, my grandmother started making that back in the 70s and my family has continued the tradition with each generation putting their own twist on it. People go on about NYC pizza and New Haven pizza. I spent 3 years in New Haven and about a month in NYC. I would SOOO much prefer just about any Greek style pizza from any city than NYC or New Haven Pizza.

I do not agree with Guy's choice for Vegas best Pizza. I ordered a naked city Pizza. It sucked. I thru most of it away. Yes I did. The best Pizza I ever ate still is a Pizza that was here from 1955 to 1985. It was called Pizza Palace. They made their own sausage, mozzarella and everything. But alas. I've never ate anything that has come close to it. Maybe Sunset Pizza. But not as good as the Palace. Naked Pizza no way.

Note: 26-inch diameter pizza is not the biggest pizza being made. In San Antonio, Texas at Big Lou's, you can order a 37-inch diameter pizza or a 42-inch pizza since 2000. (Both are on the menu.) (But you can only get the 37-inch pizza to go.) (And before the Pandemic you could order a pizza of 62-inches. The 42-inch and bigger would be dine-in only.)

Most of the best pizza places in the world aren’t franchised precisely because they don’t want to sacrifice quality. I’d rather eat at local spots, casual or fine, than chains any day. In fact, we have a no-chains rule whenever we’re on vacation.

spicy sauce mask the taste, raw veggies on pizza are a no no . i do not see really anything that is mouth watering . also , the giant pizza brings nothing to the taste . frankly . basics with 2 or 3 items and nice color are so much better and desirable , and does not sit on your stomach . a perfect blend of crunchy and chewy crust with that nice leopard caramelised crust on baking
