I think more accurate assessment would be every has recognised Pakistan is a beggar country destined for destruction. Neom is a future infrastructure project and saudis have alot of other tourism projects as well at red sea and Riyadh. Saudis are smart and always had a dedicated leadership thats why they have come this far and i think they can still succeed with their economic diversification plans with some tweeks.
My Brother is Thermal controller Engineer in Port Qasim and the capacity of the coal power plant is 1300 megawatt,and due to decline in electricity demand it seldom runs on Quarter production like 350 megawatt and pay to Chinese companies the price of all 1300 megawatt,Now current condition of all 3 plants in Pakistan have currently 1billion Dollars.

Good problem to have...excess cheap energy. Unless the utilization ideas are not there. Why not have something like rental crypto mining locations near those excess power plants
The best part of the entire interview "No one from outside will come to transform your country, its you"... Singapore got Lee Kuan, China got Deng Xiaoping and India got Modi. History evident, its that one person (leader) who lead in a way that everyone knows what to do and they do exactly what's needed. Pakistan desperately needs to get that ONE LEADER.

The cancer of Indian culturalism in pakistan has blinded them to the snake on the east and so they keep harping ‘amreeka’ is the enemy while ignoring india. Jinnah was spot in about south Asian Muslims as well in 1935 when he said that the south Asian Muslims (as a group, not individuals) are pretty foolish because they won’t have the ability to distinguish friemd from foe. Gulf nations have always been there to fund Pakistan and india has always been there to malign and attack pakistan: latest in 2019 but these Bollywood addicts don’t get it! Muslim Pakistan does not have the capacity nor capability to fight the brave Hindu army of India we have seen in past 4 wars that Pakistan army started against India but lost all wars against India. Pakistan only can show power against 6 years old helpless girls and little boys when they force them to have sex without their will. Even Indias Hindu female soldiers shot down Jihadis coming from Pakistan so Pakistani Muslims are over rated by Dr Abdullah and Pok based sheikh Rashid Khan. Even with state of art defense weapons given by America like Submarines and 5th generation fighter jets superior trained Hindu navy persons and air force pilots drowned their submarines and Pakistan airforce jets. Thus proving muslim Pakistan makes more propaganda whereas Hindu army navy airforce are superior in every way. Pakistani weapons are now from china they are like plastic toys for growing India. Dr Abdullah and Sheikh Rashid should not engage in threatening India. Sheikh Rashid has himself experienced how Indias prime minister Modi can give him shock remotely. Let us assume if Pakistan does take risks then Pakistan will seize to exist if they try their luck to far. .
