UNTOLD FULL STORY : Reality of a CAREER in IAS - Detailed Analysis: Lifestyle, Salary, Lateral Entry

The Story of Unsung heroes in Indian civil services || Life of an IAS officer || UPSC 2024
🚩This Podcast is going to be long, unfiltered, and an absolute must for anyone flirting with the idea of appearing for the UPSC civil services exam to become an officer in the Indian Administrative Services. (not the foreign services or the police services, but the IAS)
Because in this Podcast, we talk about the challenges of dreaming inside the Government as an IAS officer. We also talk about future prospects of Lateral Entry into the civil services and will do a comparative analysis of the training of officers in the IAS vs. the training of officers in some of the most efficient bureaucracies namely Singapore and Denmark. We will cover various other very interesting facets about life in the IAS, including the career prospects within the IAS - in the form of higher education or secondment in the world bank, UN, and even in the Private Sector.
There will be moments when you will feel like dropping off - but please DO NOT. If you are struggling with time save this podcast for later but do watch it end to end- because this podcast will broaden your horizons not just about the career in the IAS, but also about the story of India, and why you should be proud of it.
Believe me, there is no podcast on the internet today that goes on to provide such a rich perspective on the career in the IAS. So, do bookmark it.
Naveen has been part of the IAS for approximately 20 years. In his 20 years career, Naveen has led districts as a district Magistrate, he has worked as the Special Seretary to the former UP Chief Minister Mr. Akhilesh Yadav, and is currently posted as special secretary Health in the Government of Andhra Pradesh.

This was the kind of interaction I was looking for. There's so much said about UPSC on the net but almost no detailed authentic information on what the actual work life of an officer is. As someone who aspires for it, I wished to interact with a local officer and was in wait of a chance. However, thanks to you sir, I'm able to get the required clarity online itself.
