UNSOLVED MYSTERY: Who Killed Melissa Witt? (True Crime Documentary)

SUBSCRIBE NOW: bit.ly/2CwckC3
-
On December 1, 1994, in a small town called Fort Smith in Arkansas, 19-year-old Melissa Witt changed out of her work clothes and into causal jeans and a top before driving to the local Bowling World. Her mom Mary Ann Witt was playing in a league game and had left her a note offering to buy her a burger. Melissa did arrive at Bowling World that evening, but she never made it inside.
For over two decades the identity of Melissa Witt's killer has been hidden among the dense trees and thorny undergrowth rooted deeply in the uneven ground of a remote mountaintop in the Ozark National Forest. Determined to find answers, director and producer LaDonna Humphrey has spent the past six years hunting for Melissa's killer. Her investigation, both thrilling and unpredictable, has led her on a journey like no other.
This crime documentary is an edge-of-your-seat account of LaDonna Humphrey's passionate fight for justice in the decades-old murder case of a girl she never knew. Her unstoppable quest for the truth has gained the attention of some incredibly dangerous people, some of whom would like to keep Melissa Witt's murder a mystery forever. This documentary is Humphrey's reminder to all of us that somewhere out there in the shadows evil lurks, and if this real-life nightmare happened to Melissa Witt, it can happen to any of us.
Please watch and share. Help us find justice for Melissa Witt.

You are talking about Arkansas! This happened back at a time when all kinds of CIA-related criminal activity was going on (and not just getting Clinton elected as president). Drug trafficking, child/teen sex rings, kidnappings, etc., were the norm--and law enforcement has been involved in protecting the worst offenders.

Precious time wasted!! All missing persons reports need to be taken seriously from the beginning! Especially when it’s out of character for that person. Each case needs to be evaluated and acted on. Their caviler attitude has to stop. Take it serious. Investigate early and then If it appears that it’s not serious go from there but this was a teenager! Turns out something very wrong happened here and y’all missed so much valuable time and clues!!! That’s not fair and unacceptable!! Shame on you and many states and countries take all missing persons reports very seriously and act immediately!! You need to do better and follow in the same footsteps!

You are so right law enforcements attitude has to drastically change on this, it's ridiculous that they say you have to give it 24 hours before making a report or ohh it's a teenager they've probably ran off and will turn up sooner or later. That attitude has definitely caused an untold amount of people to die, if the family are frantically worried and saying it's out of character right from the start then law enforcement should take that deadly serious and investigate with all their resources from the start instead of making excuses.

No one saw her car until that moment?? Was her car drivin away, then put back? U would think, if not, her mom would have seen it, seeing as its a place she goes. Hmmmmm.

It sounds like a possible accidental hit and run. That might explain the blood on the ground and her keys. Someone driving drunk and flying through the parking lot. They hit Melissa and panicked. Maybe put her in their car and took her to the middle of nowhere. Realised she was still alive and chocked her to death. He might've taken her clothes off to prevent identifying her. I believe the witnesses heard somebody else in the parking lot or were mistaken about the time they heard the voice yelling for help. I wonder if Detectives checked to see if anyone had damage to their car or body work done around that time.
