There are plenty of talented musicians on KZread, but its always nice to see one who clearly understands how Mics/recording software/editing work. The arraignment is good but the sound quality and layering different tracks instead of just recording one melody definitely helped this video shine!

Its subtle but yes it does have layers. Just 1 more if I'm not wrong. And its only for some slight percussion. I'd say he does most of them in this take. Only in cases where it's physically impossible to add percussion he's added a second layer (Around 2:57). I'm not sure if there's another layer but there's definitely a lot of bending, rescaling and reverb. And that doesn't make this performance any less amazing though cause even with all that I'd say he did 90% of job in one take

That's just one track bro. Might be some editing for sound quality but that's just all him one take one guitar.

It isn’t surprising that he played unravel finger style but that it was soooooo clean. No string chirps when moving between chords, no loose sounding strings or out of tune, the beats didn’t make the strings vibrate, zero adjustments,…..just ripping. Fking loved it

i dont wanna burst your bubble but you can remove string chirping etc. and clean up audio with some smart EQing and this audio DEFINITELY sounds edited (i want to clarify, ppl tend to think that edited=bad, im not implying that here, music production is a very useful skill to have as a musician) . all this to say its not JUST his playing skills that should be praised, but also his audio editing/producing skills as well. it sounds clean as fuck, he def knows what hes doing!

I have heard a ton of fingerstyle arrangements of this song (I was looking for tabs for myself to learn) and this is my favorite so far, I love how many sounds at once this guy can make with just one guitar... 🥰 Stunning!

Not really, there's some editing to it, but it's definitely one guitar, and there are several ppl did cover for this version, it's definitely doable , but without editing, it's not gonna sound as good. And he usually recorded input and output at the same time, maybe that's why it sounds like multi tracks. @@PeterYurich

@@taddytang5747 i believe the chorus wasnt one guitar at all, especially around 1:36 where its both video not syncing and nearly if not impossible to make exactly that sound practically.

This is one of the best guitar performances I've ever seen. The amount of skill it takes to play at this level is immense. Huge respect and of course it sounded great

中文我可能形客得不好。 打板的節拍跟閉和弦是真的彈很好聽 但換個角度其實浪費了那把吉他音色美 還有表達的感覺 這當然很主觀 說真的我起初也是覺得有點破壞了美感.畢竟原來的這首歌想表達的感覺不是為技巧而演唱，但換個角度他能在這首歌加上不同元素也是很厲害👍🏻

每次都要讚嘆一下老師的編曲

While he’s talented this is more about hard work and commitment. This kind of fingerstyle requires a lot of practise. To get to this point you need put a lot of effort into it. At the end of the day playing an instrument is more about dedication than talent.
