When and where did Tim Henson said that? They were surprised of the drum solo at 2:15, Tim Henson played the same thing for 1:25-1:40 in his unplugged version lol wtf? Edit : The below comment is not directed at _wewww and NGuyEN28410, but to the other keyboard warriors. Asking a question with "lol wtf" as a confused surprise expression is considered arguing for some. At least the ones that gave me some insight taught me something, while some try to sound smart themselves. It's cooler than the original" and in Tim's unplugged version he literally doesn't use harmonics while Paolo uses harmonics lol, look at their left hand and you'll see it's clearly different.

The fact that Tim mentioned to Rick Beato that he is having a hard time playing Polyphia songs on acoustic because of the steel string makes this cover even more impressive. Tim signature acoustic Ibanez with Nylon strings is made for him to make it easier for him to play Polyphia songs on acoustic.

I have always played 12’s on Electric - to be fair it makes the switch to Acoustic much more doable especially on this song. But this mad lad has a whole different galaxy of difficulty to play with

Also the strings of an acoustic being much harder, its also a matter of how callused your fingers are. If you are playing almost exclusively electric you wont have calluses as evolved as when you play acoustic hence when you then pick up an acoustic it hurts the fingers more quickly and your fingers wont have as much strength as an acoustic player

One of the most impressive things I’ve seen.. no over the top smashing of the guitar and cheap harmonics in an open tuning- really tasteful and well thought out playing

The most impressive part of this is how beautifully you arranged the slower, middle parts, and really bringing out the essential parts of every instrument, including the drums. I'd assume most people would be like "alright time to take a break and make this simple", and while the technical part is much simpler than the opening riff, the arranging you did withe percussive sounds and filling in the bass is spectacular. Amazing!
