This Elite Strap for Meta Quest 3 would be worth $75, not twice as much.

Bought lenses for Quest 2 and PSVR2 from VR ROCK before, they were great. This time, no hesitation, chose them again.

Lovely accessories review. Commenting on the head strap, I find the facial interface on the Quest 3 intolerable. The Quest 2 with elite strap is still viable, especially good for vigorous games when the additional pressure is warranted. However, the Quest 3 facial interface is so bad, for me at least, that I don't think I'd be able to tolerate the Elite strap. It took me all of five minutes before removing the Quest 3 strap and velcro my Bobo VR M2 to the Quest 3 out of desperation. One more consideration is that the Elite strap is unlikely to be suitable for anyone for extended use. I use the Quest 3 for work during the day and entertainment at night. Some days I have it on for up to 14 hours, I don't believe anyone will be able to tolerate that kind of exposure with the Elite strap. With the Halo style straps, in my case the Bobo VR, I use the headset without the facial interface. It works very well especially when in mixed reality settings, and then at night with the lights dimmed I can comfortably immerse myself in my game of choice.

Ah wow 14 hours is one hell of a stint! Any tips to stay comfortable in that kind of usage, above abd beyond the strap and faceplate swaps?

    1. Halo style strap, I am sure any style will do, but the counter balance at the back is important for the second point. 2. I removed the facial interface, so the Quest 3 is free floating in front of my eyes. This necessitates the battery as counter balance at the back otherwise it has a tendency to slip forward. This is very comfortable, no fogging of the lenses and no pressure on my face. I think this part is probably responsible for the biggest improvement in comfort. This is not ideal for vigorous gameplay though, so I'll add the facial interface or switch to my Quest 2 which always has the facial interface in place. 3. Often overlooked is that the focal point of the Quest lenses at a distance of about 1.3 - 1.5m (I can't get an exact figure) causes eye strain over long sessions. I experimented with various prescription contact lenses and settled on a lens .75 diopters less than my prescription. This seems comfortable in the long run and my eyes no longer get tired and blurry after long sessions. I alternate between contact lenses and glasses. Without the facial interface any of my prescription glasses comfortably fit between the Quest 3 and my face, although I can bring the devices ever so slightly closer to my face when wearing contact lenses.

You had me wondering when you said it was a 27 hundred mA power bank. Didn’t sound like much capacity. But then I saw it’s actually a 27 thousand mA power bank. Now that is what I need! 🤓

I do exactly this. Depending on how much I expect to move around I will either rotate through my bobovr batteries, lug around a 30Ah power bank or stay tethered to my laptop. But there is always a battery in the bobovr if only for counter balance.
