    My network set up makes Steam Link unusable on my quest 2. I use the telecom Wireless AC router. There's so much artifacting and anything more than 1m away gives an unfocused myopia effect in Skyrim VR as well as lag sometimes. To be fair tho I have the same issues with Steam Link for other devices like my smartphone.

    The most frustrating thing about Steam Link is using an Xbox controller. I think you just can't. Super annoying for games that require it.

    Scott, we don't have to do anything, we do what we have always done, let people make up their own minds if it is misinformation or not. Governments have been spitting out misinformation throughout history. Nothing has really changed except for the delivery and reach .

    I want a good horror VR co-op game. Also do you have any Quest 3 headstrap & controller grip suggestions?

  • @RushReality
    @RushRealityАй бұрын

    It’s worth a go. I actually prefer not use grips for the quest controllers at the moment as I really like the compact for factor of the controllers as they are. But plenty of decent head straps, I’ve linked to one in the description of this video that’s a decent that I’ve been using recently but before that I was on the meta elite strap. I think almost any of the replacements are a good upgrade from the stock fabric.

    Quest 3 must buys Headstrap: BoboVR S3 Pro Headstrap. $159. USD Controller Grips: AMVR Upgraded Knuckle Grips. $30 USD Optional: Kobra VR Mag Gun Pro. $150 USD. I just purchased mine yesterday. It's a 3d printed gun stock from the UK that's shipping at the end of June. KZread reviews are excellent and it's cool as hell Enjoy!!

    Hey... So do you need to have your PC wired into your router, and then set up a second router on your PC that your oculus headset then connects to? Or do you just connect virtual desktop to your PC?

    Thank you so much for the information. I am 73 years old and this is my first Quest 3 VR. OMG! When I went to the store (browsing around) I put these on and immediately started talking out loud that this is amazing. I love the exercising, meditation (new to me) and boxing. Yep. I got the Brink Traveler but having difficulty navigating it hopefully it will start to make sense. I wish I could get more people my age to try this but in the between I am having so much fun. Pssst. I still work and sneaked out today to take a Zumba class. This was such a great experience. Anyway just wanted to say thank you so much. If there are new tips and tricks for the Quest 3 I hope you let us know. In the meantime this is a 73 year old lady enjoying VR.

    Wow not a single game suggested that has physical exertion. Something you can work out to. Many people want something from VR that’s going to be interesting and exciting for them to exercise but also there’s so many things that used to be common place that incorporated exercise. I’m not even old but to me it just seems like a bunch of shallow stupid nonsense games. I do really appreciate you taking the time to make the video put the information together and go out and check out the games, but there’s more awesome things to do in VR besides replicate playing a game I expect to actually have at least four options of something that was a physical activity you could do in VR, and you have none. It’s not a fail. It’s just a missed section.

    Thanks for the prompt. I should point out this is actually part two of the series of things you can do in the outside of gaming and fitness was featured in the first so I didn’t want to repeat it in the second. But it’s definitely a good use case.

    Just an FYI your internet/broadband speed has no impact at all on wireless quality, you could litearlly have an airgapped network and it would work fine. Its the speed bottleneck of the LAN that matters.

    Who initially frequented the 'nickelodeon' cinemas a century ago? Curious 'early adopter' nerds / pervs. What actually made VHS take off? Kinky Adult content. What actually initially made the Internet explode in popularity? Kinky Adult content. Why has VR not fully taken off yet, albeit being an ingenious innovation? Not enough Kinky Adult content there yet.

    I have one question. Do you have to stay still when using the vr or can you walk around? I only ask because I'm really interested in getting the Quest 3 for meditating on the beach but always wondered if it allows you to feel like you are actually walking on the beach or any other location. I hope that makes since. Have a great day.

    What I’ve come to realize over the course of like 20 plus hours of troubleshooting and trying all different types of settings… nothing is a one size fits all for getting the best quality for VR. There’s wayyyyyy too many variables that can cause high latency and poor quality. Specifically routers, router modem combos, pc specs, the vr headset you’re using, how the computer is connected to the network, and then individual settings like codec and mbps. It’s entirely anecdotal and just cause one person says it works for them, DOES NOT MEAN it will work for you. Welcome to VR PC gaming.

    returned virtual desktop after finding out i couldnt add non vr games to the games tab whole reason i got it was because it seemed to be slightly more convenient i will say image quality looked alot sharper on virtual desktop however responsiveness and latency felt better on steam link all in all ill stick to steam link because most games i wanna play in vr are non vr games and i cant even add it to the games tab so its even less convenient then steam link for me

    Hi :) I've purchased a PICO 4 VR Headset and played VRChat today with wireless Steamlink-Connection. The expereince was not that good.. it was very blurry and I dunno.. just not graphixally overwhelming. (Looked like 1080p maximum). Would I get a better experience, when I run it witha cable for PCVR? ^^ Got a high end pc and a lan cable on it.

    You might want to check your resolution settings in your PC's steam link settings. I believe the default is set to 90% or something resolution. If you bump that up to 125% or 150% it should look much sharper.
