I was hired in a Charter School in Ohio and yeah I agree that the salary is quite lower than the Public School however, My principal is great and they also have smaller class which I believe that is manageable.

Thanks for sharing your experience. :) My experience was only in a Public school. My IB Physics classes were always with less than 20 students but my regular physics and math classes were always almost 30 students.

Charter schools are public schools. They have simply been subcontracted to an outside provider.

J-1 Exchange Visitors may transfer from one program sponsor to another if the purpose of the transfer is to complete the academic objective for which he or she was admitted. You may read this to know more about transferring to another J1 visa sponsor while in the US www.linkedin.com/pulse/j-1-visa-possible-switch-another-organization-francesca-vigevano/. HOWEVER, if the transfer requires another type of visa for instance from J1 to H1b, then you can't do it without first acquiring an approved waiver application.
