This is one of the channels that gave me the courage to start my KZread channel 9 months ago about self development. Now I have 1,7445 subs and > 1k hours of watch time. I know it’s not comparable with others but I’m still proud I started because I’ve been learning so many lessons that I could haven’t learned without getting started in the 1st place.

@@Claudia-lq3ns Whoever you are, I don't know you personally but based on what you said that you're one of the non-judgmental and open-minded people who is not fixated on tangible or external factors in order to learn from someone like me. Just because someone doesn't have a piece of paper as a credential, doesn't mean that person is not entitled to share personal experiences with the hope & intention to inspire others. Keep up with whatever it is that you're doing to improve mankind or improving your life even to a slight degree each day. This is just one part of a bigger puzzle for creating my KZread channel about holistic health. I literally could have died back when I was 14 years old due to major depression but here I am right now replying to you, a KZreadr, who's full of fulfillment and dedication to help others to be a better version of themselves. I ain't better than anyone else but my old self. That's all that really makes this KZread thing more meaningful and enjoyable. Thanks so much for your support! I am hoping that you can join me with this endless personal development journey! :)

@@CannaWine Thank you! Knowing that there could be human beings I could influence positively at least to some extent is enough reason for me to keep moving forward. Every subscriber is not just a number but a human-being who made a conscious effort to hit that subscribe button for a reason. A reason to learn from my stories, life lessons, progress, setbacks, mistakes, and so on. I have many plans to make it grow not because of fame or any external rewards but the inspiration I can give to someone who can barely get out of bed in the morning, suffering from depression, or feels like there is no hope anymore. I can totally relate to those situations because I’ve been there and turned my life around.

Money spent on experiences is always money well spent. Money on food and material goods not so much. So don’t feel too bad about that. Plus as an old 40yr lady….do the trips while you are young. Kids and husbands and careers will lock you down soon enough. Enjoy the freedom while you can so that you enjoy the lockdown more later with not regrets ❤

Hi Nika, thank you, a much needed video to start wrapping up 2023 :) Looking at you checking off your goals, for the first time in my life I am wondering, what if we complete all our goals before the year ends? :) Why do we set ourselves such a huge timeline, and if we should have an additional list of goals for that case xD P.S. Sorry for being nerdy, I just randomly caught a typo in your day counts: 30.9 to 20.11 couldn't be 82 days. Either one of the months is a typo or it would be 52 days? (might need to subtract your trips from this number if you do so)

12:58 Marvelous to feel this feeling of tranquility & peace. Well caught with knowing that we are always developing so you are keenly aware of self. Question: Did you take self isolation into consideration to reach this state?

12:45 - as a 40 year old woman, let me offer some advice. You should never be so set in who you are that you're not willing to change as the world changes. There are going to be things that happen that change you at a fundamental core and then there will be things that are so insignificant that have a meteoric impact on you. Life is wild, it is ever changing and if you notice that you are not changing, you should be concerned.

I feel like I always want to do exactly these things but it’s like I am somehow blocked. I can recognize that it’s completely self-destructive not to plan or prepare or even have a calendar. Or periodically I have several which makes it not very helpful. I keep starting these kinds of resets and planning sessions but I quickly feel so overwhelmed that it is like my mind disassociates and I don’t remember making even immensely detailed plans a day later. Even when I try to use a notebook to make things more concrete it’s like I can’t be consistent. After a few days I stop, or I forget about it, it’s almost like I stop feeling connected to the person I was when I created those routines and plans for myself. When I was a teenager and in my twenties I don’t remember having trouble keeping a journal and using the same journal, or planning with the same paper calendar. This being so hard for me makes me think it could be something deeper that I need to try to get at. And so this leads me to your comment about having worked so much on yourself. Is there a video where you describe in detail the steps you took, like which books you used and how the process looked like for you? I have been trying to do this and I think there are similarities in our backgrounds, but I haven’t been able to afford to work with a therapist. When I try to read and write out answers to questions and prompts, etc. just like with planning and organizing I seem to not be able to make myself do it. I get distracted and disassociated and can’t seem to move forward. But to move forward with my life I think I have to at some point be able to work through these things methodically. Otherwise, I will keep being too dysregulated to move beyond trying to survive from day to day. All of this makes me so sad because I feel I have lost so much time already and I don’t know how not to feel depressed about it. I feel I have so much I want to do and give to others but it’s definitely like I am locked inside a prison where my defense mechanisms are preventing me from escaping. It makes sense for these mechanisms to think that not being inside this safe familiar place is dangerous, but I feel I have a right as much as anyone to try to build a real life for myself. I want to feel agency and make myself financially secure. And be able to take steps in this direction with ease. I want to feel like you describe that you feel - content and secure. I can be disciplined in other areas of my life, like with exercise and nutrition, so it’s not like this is a pattern across the board.

I go through this as well, planning but not executing. I guilt trip and am very hard on myself to "Progress" due to childhood upbringings. Key is awareness- counseling may fit for some and not for others. Professional counseling has many areas so do your research of the style of Psychiatry you wish to embark on. Isolating and taking back control of my time has been a tremendous aid in propelling me to complete tasks. The mindset I have adopted is this: " If someone pays me x amount of dollars to do a job and build there business ( I love my profession so not bashing employee's), then I know DAM well I should do those tasks set." Each day is different depending your lifestyle and variables, they key is to START with doing 1 thing. Each day do 1 thing until capable of doing 2, so on and so on. Remember, have patience, be easy with yourself but also be mentally firm on self. Take that same skill of discipline that you have for exercise & nutrition and apply it to your "Administrative Side". It'll take time, but consistency even during those mentally grueling days- push through it and get the job done!
