The crab AYCE restaurant’s name is Tsukiji Kani Matsuri. It has only opened recently and is quite easy to get in. Thank you Mikey san for finding out this place!

I love watching your videos I cook ever night and have so many allergies that is gets ridiculously hard to make tasty food. Because of my allergies it’s usually all health food and I still want to be able to eat out enjoy different types of food. you give me more options and peace of mind. I went threw a time of deep depression over food and to get joy from other eating is something that gives me inner peace and makes me strive to make wonderful not always healthy but delicious meals for my family and myself.
I don't think I've ever been jealous of the places Mikey gets to eat, because I live between NY and San Diego (and have eaten at many of great places)...UNTIL THIS VIDEO. I've been to a couple of seafood buffets in Vegas and there are a few good katsu curry places in San Diego, but I guarantee they don't compare to the freshness and flavor of what's in this video. That king crab tempura and that curry dish...makes me want to visit Japan for the first time.

There are a lot of buffet, all around asia. Way cheaper than US. Nothing compare. for the price and value.
The curry joint is in Jinbocho, big surprise that the curry was that good! That is a high priority area for me to visit when next I go to Tokyo. One of my favorite anecdotes Mike ever told was the one where he commented that on buffets, crab legs are what Asians eat when they're taking a break from eating!

I went there just this morning and they edited thé menu: there is only all you can snow crab for 5000 yen. (1hour Time limited). You can have 1 king crab leg for 3000 yen. Its still a good price !

ive never had crab before but you'd think crab was a dessert the way mike talks about it lol.
I’m obsessed with your Japan videos
I love crab! My favourite is to boil the live crab then remove the back shell and roast the crab drenched in garlic butter. Replace the shell and serve with lemon wedges and lots of napkins! So great that you love shellfish so much I love watching you eat!
This is heaven. The king crab’s pincers are irresistible.❤
Love this channel thank you Mike !

Hey Mike. Yummmm 😋 King crab and tempura 🍤 this is a meal. A perfect combination.. The noodles look fabulous at the end. Have a good one, enjoy this delicious food.. 🐞❤️
I am fasting for blood tests, and I love crab. Guess I will enjoy it through your experience!!
👍 love Japanese food. Thanks

@@19827364 I'm not 100% sure, think it's Tsukiji Matsuri or something like that (it was a random find). I do know how to get there: from Tsukiji Station (Hibiya Line), walk towards Tsukiji Market, along the main road. Follow the road and it's right at the first corner when you reach the outer market area, it's on the 2nd floor above a Lawsons.

Hi! How did the buffet work? Was there a time limit and could you order specifically the king crab (tempura/grilled) after you're done with what I assume is the standard first round platter of different crabs? Curious as eating crab would take a bit of time with all the handling/cutting etc.
@TF_NowWithExtraCharacters

@@bart5940 I'm not sure about the 10k one, I went for a cheaper 5k yen one (snow crab only) and it was 1 hour time limit. I think it didn't include the grilled and tempura was served first. I was more keen on the rest of the crab anyway. They served a portion of like 10-12 legs at once and as I was finishing they served a second portion
Wow looks so good
Yum this was an amazing video Mikeyyyy ❤❤❤❤
Hey Mikey, the other day I someone on a food channel & they would cut each right below the joint & that lets in air & then they just shook it out easily. No having to split the leg lengthwise
Yea, the AYCE crab place was interesting! But your other stops were definitely worth a visit especially the curry shop!
You know curry is great when it looks like peanut butter 😅
Eating some right now lol😂 💪🏾
3:29 most succulent king crab 🦀 😊
Unlimited crab buffet yes please!!!
All you can eat crab is $37.33 usd by the way and the all crab all you can eat is $75 usd😅 which is a hell of a deal considering the fact that in the us a pound of crab is $50+ depending on what type
Strickly Dumpling thanks for this amazing video.
Love the vids🎉
Love your videos
I love seafood ❤
That's pretty cheap for AYCA King Crab. Where I live, you can get 5-6 legs for 100 bucks
I’m drooling.
You know it's getting serious when they bust out the garden shears 😂 This looks amazing and fresh, I'd be there as long as they'd let me just trying all of the different crabs.
My favorite food...CRABS!!! 😍😍😍😋😋😋🤤🤤🤤
I adore crab but unfortunately don't have the patience for all that cutting to get to the meat. Happy Crabbing Mike! 👍🦀

The Curry seems the same as rice and gravy here in the US. It looks incrediblely delicious.

I so Love all your abroad videos Mikey!! Especially the All-You-Can-Eat places!!
Mikey is a perfect example of one who lives to eat!!!
I don't think of ever witnessed anyone who loved crab as much as Mikey. It was my favorite food when I was a kid, and I forgot about that until just now. 😁🦀
wow, just loving those Japanese snacks Mike!
As a German I am allways wondering what kind of food in some regions of the world are popular for breakfast. Most Germans eat bread, toast or buns with jam, cheese or different kind of sausage cold cuts. Sometime include an boiled egg. Warm breakfast ist totally uncommon. People who live a particularly healthy lifestyle sometimes eat muesli and fruit for breakfast. Of course with coffee or tea.

A US breakfast usually consists of eggs (fried or scrambled) bacon, ham or sausage and toast, waffles or pancakes. A big breakfast includes potatoes too, normally hash browns or tator tots. And a glass of orange juice My favorite meal of the day

4:45 - i dont think snow carb sahimi (meaning raw) would be red like that.. they should be a hint of blue, right?
Have you tried coconut crab, and what do you think of it?
