No BS I wish I was there to do this. I tried to volunteer at the Shaw classic but they didn't pick me to try out the blobs. I am very confident in my strength amd grip. Can close a level 3 captains of crush gripper am about .5" away from a level 4. I wish I could try this challenge.
I just want to say thanks for being a good role model. I know there's a lot of toxic people out there on social media and it just seems like you're always so positive and kind. I appreciate that

I wouldn't be able to do the 144 pound one but would try it because a dollar is nothing to me. Apparently 10 dollars is nothing to the guys who could lift it, because it's blatantly obvious that the guy almost Brian's size was the only one with a non zero chance at the 176. Guy in the Rockies hat had my energy, he thought about it for a second because it was obvious to him he couldn't do the 144. Then he remembered he was giving up 1 dollar.

What is also amazing about Brian Shaws strength, is the fact his arms and legs are so much longer, so he has a considerably longer range of motion. And he's seems like a generally nice guy...what a role model to those kids and us grown ups who still act like a kid!!! 😄
Those dumbbells look sick. Where do I buy them from ??
I would love to try this lol. I don't normally get a chance to try anything as heavy as those with that large of a grip.
I am 70 years old and have no trouble lifting 210 pounds with either hand, 21 pounds at a time times 10 reps, lol.
What you did with the kids is so awesome and kind of you if only other people tbought like you world would be a better place well done mr Shaw
Brilliant, hope you do more similar vids
The world needs more of your positive attitude. It’s nice to see.
This is a great content, must do more at different places and with different ideas. By the way, the dumbels are gradually small to big in size according to their weights. But when you look from the angle of smaller weight, they all look exactly the same in size. Perspective tricks are so interesting.
Anything Brian does is worth watching. Great man with class and character.

I'm glad you guys are showing grip strength as it's been overlooked for too long. Your grip & forearms need to be trained as any other body part. It's the 1st connection to ANY exercise & can make or break you. Want to add 10-20lbs to your bench? Train your forearms if you don't normally do.
