"Someone can struggle with mental health and still be an asshole" - absolutely!! Good for you for getting out of the relationship. It's usually not clear to anyone else when someone is trying to manipulate you. Having a creative outlet is really important.

I know you’re still working through this but please always remember that what he chose to do is not your fault (I know that doesn’t make it any easier to accept) I’m glad we could connect but it’s a bit unfortunate it’s under these circumstances, I just really hate you have to carry this pain. I recently got into making collage art. It's fun to cut out stuff from old magazines or print some things out manually, cut them up and mash them together with tape and glue. I don't see a lot of collage art around (they're out there, I just can't find that many recent examples), so I hope to throw my hat into the ring. Even if the final piece I make doesn't make any sense thematically whatsoever, it's just the fun of making stuff that keeps my hands and mind busy. Excellent idea, Bratty!

Collage art is such a fun way to express yourself. It really goes hand in hand with zine making since both are very much DIY and a bit messy - I love it! I always enjoy your videos and have learned a lot from you about making zines. Be true to yourself. The world tries to make everyone the same. That was never my desire but I’m pretty much a loner (happily so). I enjoy doing my own thing and never feel I have anything to prove to anyone. Family are the people I choose to share my time with when I’m free. 🤗

I get asked that a lot so no worries I’m used to it. I was evaluated when I was 26 after seeing a psychiatrist about something else I was struggling with. So it was kind of an accident! Lol
