Everytime I hear this sing, I am fascinated how short this song feels, despite being a 7min song

This is the beginning of a story that covers their last 2 albums, Apex and Abyss. They were both written as concept albums with the story line in mind, but each has it's own overall distinct vibe. They've done some cool covers also, with Sunglasses At Night being one of my favorite covers ever. Brittney's voice just works so well for the song. I can't help but smile when I listen to it.

If you have not heard him before. Definitely check out Devin Townsend. “Kingdom” on emg tv is a good first one. He is a rabbit hole much like little big. But metal.

I never was into that classic/power metal thing a lot, just listened and am listening to it sometimes in a while... but this band is really exceptional, and when I have the urge to listen to pure metal, this song is definitely number one choice.

Time to go down the Archer Rabbit Hole. I love spreading this band like wildfire. I've seen this band live 3 times and met them all 3 times; they are the nicest people in Canada 🇨🇦.

Saw this band live in seattle at the end of last year! They were AMAZING.

Their album 'Apex' that starts with this song, is probably my #1 played album overall. Every time, I cannot help but head-bang when I listen to it. 'Apex' and 'Abyss' are superb albums that must be heard.

was wondering when you would get to this, this is the song that got me falling down the reaction channel rabbit hole. Great song from a great band! Bass player has a crazy right hand technique, and the drummer kills that tiny little drum set. Best power metal guitars I have heard in a long time, and Brittney Slayes is well, shit you listened to the song....amazing

I'm gonna be honest every time I hear anything by Unleash the Archers all I can think of is how Brittney could fill in at a Maiden gig and no one would even be upset about it - this is coming from someone who's been a fan for 35 years. And when I say Maiden the same goes for Helloween, Queensrÿche, Angra, or any other heavily vocal centric out there. Just too good.

I've watched this video so many times and I still love every second of it. They're a great fun band to get into, Britney has been known to watch reactions and has even appeared with some of them. I remember her watching Faster Than Light with one of them and it was wonderful. Basically anything by them is magnificent, my personal favourites are: Abyss, for epic heavy with a bizarre video; their incredible cover of Northwest Passage which is breathtaking and Legacy for a slightly different feel with some incredible lyrics and a socially distanced walk through a Canadian city (Vancouver I believe, but I could be wrong) .

Epic 'stache, great voice, wonderful attitude. You sir are fun to watch.

@RichoPOV: I'll put it this way: Unleash the Archers is a band that should be getting _heavy_ play on US rock and metal radio stations -- but they _don't, despite winning their Juno Award (Canadian Grammy) for 2020 Metal Album of the Year, for the album "Abyss." Funny thing about Abyss is? The entire album was made without a bassist, bro. And it was a running joke for the longest time that Unleash the Archers were victims of the "Curse of the Missing Bassist," lol. I'm happy to report that in the last few months, the band now does have a full-time bassist in Nick Miller, who is not the bassist shown here, Niko. This is one of those songs that take you on a journey that you have to cool down from after. Other ones for me are Sons of winter and stars by wintersun and Into the Hellfire by Lorna Shore.

You gotta do more UTA, all their songs are incredible! Old stuff is great, new stuff is great, everything is epic! They are all masters of their field. Andrew and Grant are some of the best guitar players i have ever heard.. Scott is a super talent on drums, and Brittney have the most powerful vocals in the history! (more or less) Also Niko on bass is super insane, but he is not with the band anymore.

Great reaction video. I never get tired of watching people discover this brilliant band for the first time.

After seeing a reaction to this song I was absolutely in love. Then I heard that this is the first song of a two album story of "The Immortal" so I promptly ordered both albums on vinyl and when they arrived I sat down with some nice sipping rum in one hand and the lyrics sheet in the other and listened to both albums back to back following along with the story. Best thing I ever did. Would highly recommend!

Gotta recommend another german metal band! They're called "Annisokay" and in my opinion the two songs that really stand out are "Like A Parasite" and "STFU"! Filmclip to Like A Parasite is amazingly well done as well, except you dislike bugs, scorpions etc :D Awesome reaction as always Richo!
