University of Washington - From the Sky | DJI Phantom
Welcome to the University of Washington! Watch in HD!
Picked up a DJI Phantom nearing the end of the school year and took some footage around my campus. The University of Washington is gorgeous; looking over the footage I've noticed it's easy to begin to take it all for granted.
Shots are taken from all over campus, including: The Quad, Red Square, and Drumheller Fountain. The second half of the video is primarily shot at Green Lake park which is approximately a mile away from campus. Finally the ending time lapse was taken at Gas Works park.

Wow, if that's your first video with the Phantom, you are going to be one killer aerial videographer! Of course, it helps that you live in such a beautiful place. I especially love the sunset time lapse at the end. Are you studying film at UW? Keep up the good work!

Haha, I'm actually hoping to study informatics at UW, but thank you so much for the kind words! The ending time lapse is taken from Gas Works park, the video captures the feel of it but seeing the sunset there in person is incomparable.

Sweet man! Only thing i would suggest is to buy a Gimbal, for more steady film.

BlissandBrandon Also, can you tell me the name of that hammock at 1:10?
I would not recommend feeding squirrels. They are rather aggressive and can easily scratch or bite you. I still have the scar on my hand from squirrel scratch.
