I love it when I get my friends to join me in The Breezeway for a cocktail! Miss Pinup Palmer is an internationally published pinup model and an actress at Universal Studios Hollywood! We had a lot of fun making this Trader Vic's classic. Hope you enjoy the show!

Diana Orona Possibly the cocktail before the show helped and also gave her the English accent that keeps appearing.

I just made this drink. I forgot the soda at first and it was TOO sweet. After adding the soda it was still sweet, but more drinkable. I would describe the flavor as "dark tropical fruits". Very good, 9/10.

Man, I love the hat. I've tried finding one for years. What do they even all that thing? I remember seeing crewmen on the tramp steamer, the SS Venture in King Kong and thought, yeah, that would be perfect as a wardrobe accent.

re: lime first - only thing I can think of is if you're getting some of the oils expressed into the inside of the glass.

No I think it is for layering. Trying to either make it seem like a sharks tooth or blood in water or something along those lines.
Ok, sad that I have watched this twice just because of Pinup Palmer. No offense, Spike! 😜 Just adore her. Beautiful yes, but she is SO damn fun. I love her style. Excited to hear she may be coming back for more (Halloween themed?)? 👍🏻

Hey Spike, in the video you say that rock candy syrup is 1:1 simple syrup. Rock candy syrup is actually 2 parts sugar to one part water (aka rich simple syrup). I’m not trying to be a know-it-all here, just want to make sure everyone has the right ingredients.

Yeah I have no idea why it said that the lemon had to be first like that. When you are mixing the drink in a shaker, there really is no point in insisting any ingredient must be first. Not like you are layering them :/
