Thanks so much for this, it got me on the right path! I had to do another step on the materials import, though, which was to change each of their Rendering Mode settings to Opaque - it defaulted to transparent. If anyone has this problem - go to the materials folder, highlight the new imports (you can multi-select all of them) and in the Inspector tab change the Rendering Mode to Opaque. If you have a ton of materials from other items, you can find the ones for this import back in the asset -> materials section, and you can click on each of the remapped materials at the bottom to find them.

Please let me start by saying this is not the first video I tried to watch on this topic. The other fool who made a video made cuts and skipped steps assuming we knew what he already knows. It wasted hours of my time because I assumed I was doing something wrong or not following his video. Let me end by saying thank you for being so thurough, not skipping a single step and being so clear. To clarify on clear, you dont just tell us what we are doing, but you also explained what and why so we understood why you were telling us to click or drag or make a change and how it was going to impact the character/game. Hi bluefever In my game there is a character boss that dives, and jumps. The diving zombie boss has 4 animation that do jumps and dive's animations. When I export my zombie boss to Unity from Mixamo with his dive animation, when the diving zombie boss does his walk animation, then does his jump animation, it's like he does the dive from a standing fixed position, like he does not dive to the left, then continue his walk animation afterwards. So, I want the boss to dive left, but actually dive 2 meters to the left instead of just doing the animation like he is stuck in his original position. Can you help with this problem? My friend say: ''Seems like you have the walk animation as default with the animation state. Moving his position can be done the same time as running the animation in the script. Honestly most of that positions should correct it self out when you fix the walking, but if not might need to edit the animation a bit.''

That's interesting. I am always tempted by all those Mixamo Animations. But want to use my own simple Low Poly Character from Blender. So I can use the Mixamo Upload Character, which Mixamo Can Rig Against, and apply its own set of awesome animations. The only catch is that Mixamo actually creates its own rig, and so we become limited to Mixamo Animations/Rig combinations set. As we we cannot mix in our own Animations from Blender. But it gets you a long way if you want to avoid creating all the tedious animation key framing stuff in Blender/Unity.

So if you have an fbx model of your humanoid character in a T pose, you can set the arms, legs, body and head so that Miximo generates a rig for it. That rig will then be used to apply all those Mixamo animations, which can then be downloaded against your character.
