Hey, I have a character from the Unity Asset Store that just has running animation in one place, once I put it in the timeline it just runs in one place, what can I do? I tried to record and change the position of the character, but every time I try to move it - it just goes out of the terrain and it doesn't listen to my commands

what did you open with because for me it opened with paint 3d and i cant import it into unity

but here is a problem i did what you exactly said and looptime tik is on but after i running the game after little while its stops even though i tried Loop Pose and even on the time line after putting the move animation if you click on it there is a Inspector tab that contains (Animation Extrapolation) which is on Hold there is some option that you can chose like Loop - Ping Pong - Continue & None i tried that Loop Or continue too Even on the Tab Blow there is animation Clip in that tab has Loop and There is option that you can change that too to ( Use Source / On / Off) I tried That too but it wont workout [ May you please help me] 🙏

Hi, I come across the same thing. Make sure that when you download the character and animation from mixamo, choose: FBX for Unity. I downloaded Fbx only and i got the same error. Hope it helps xoxo

HOW TO FIX ROAD NOT COLLIDING WITH CHARACTER UNITY OR WHY CHARACTER IS FLOATING IN AIR ?

Hey there, i was looking for a long time for a tutorial for an university project and this is almost exactly what i need, i need my character to walk in a certain path (not a straight line) and have a dolly camera on track (in a straight line) look and follow my character while it walks. Basically i have to do this (kzread.info/dash/bejne/mYV6lK6uot3KYps.html) Any idea of how to do that? Huge thanks in advance

Okay, this might come off as a lot of nit picky but I do this because I just hate tutorials that direct users like this. And by this, I mean videos where you spoonfeed information. I hate the fact that this "tutorial" video tells me nothing about WHY I'm doing a particular thing. It's all about do this -> go there -> click on this -> click on that -> and done. Why can't it be: "I do this step because ..." OR "doing this informs Unity that ...". While you're explaining this, you can also talk about what the other options do. Like for instance, when you dragged the model into the timeline window, there were 2 options. You can spend a minute to explain what the other option was about! You don't have to show the entire thing after you select only the fact that dragging this gameobject here will do this. If there was another object with a script, some other options show up. Just more details ... since you're calling yourself "guru".
