I've just watched all your videos, you don't have a lot but the amount of knowledge I've learned in a few of your videos taught me more than 100s of other unity videos have taught me. You have a gift with the structure of your videos and teaching ways. Normally I'd expect this level of teaching to be a paid service. I can't thank you enough for helping me get my foot in the door with Unity. Keep up the amazing work and I hope 2021 is kind to you in growth and success

The FBX for Unity format doesn't exist anymore. The options now are FBX Binary or FBX ASCII. They both look and work exactly the same for me once in Unity, but the Binary file is a bit smaller. So if anyone is wondering, go for the Binary option.

While I love this series of tutorials, I used a procedure in a YT video by Bluefever Software. This is because all of the Mixamo models were importing without textures and materials. That procedure is to download the character and then the animations without skins. Once you import them, there are a few more steps to set things for humanoid etc but it also includes the steps to generate textures and materials to avoid the white/grey models. If this impacts you, seek out that video.
