Paying 70m for an almost 30 year old Casemiro was crazy. Madrid couldn't believe their luck. Same season Madrid bought Tchouaméni for 100m. United should be doing deals like that! Instead of buying has-beens like Casemiro, Varane, Eriksen etc. It's about scouting and sporting direction.

Our players don't have common game intelligence. Don't even know where to stand for a throw in. Things you learn as a kid. Carragher was spot on, we're the worst coached team in the league.

@@ogitomas7573 in terms of ETH time at UTD Onana is by far the biggest screwup. No body was good yesterday but in terms of our overall season no-one has had a worse impact than Onana.

Beth now saying we dont have the players to play out from the back and they dont want the ball😂😂comical. It was clear to see last season we cant control the ball and the players cant make simple passes and they dont want the ball. Until that was fixed there no need to change the GK but she was adament we needed a ball playing keeper, itjust madness.

Utd need to start respecting opponents. They were outclassed by a professional footballing team. A team that deserves more respect

Man Utd have been getting away with it all season, your luck ran out on this one.

Young players like Mainoo need guidance from real experienced, good players. Instead he has Fernandes who's utterly horrendous and doesn't understand the basics of pressing. Everything Ricky's saying @ 6:21 Mainoo has picked up from Fernandes. Bad habits pass among youth players like a plague

I have always felt that players like Casemiro get away with being in teams where they aren't needed to put in a great 90 minute performance. He needed to commit some fouls and get the ball to Modric and Kroos. It's not to say that he wasn't a good player, but he was never going to come to United and push this team to new heights. That's not what he is or has ever been.

It should be a crime to play like that

Think you’re right. They were told they will have to fight for their future at the club and lots of them are tired from fighting all season..it’s been hard on them I do have a small bit of sympathy we as a club have been under fire from every corner of the media all season which a good bit of it has been warranted but the pressure is incredibly high constant failures and frustration amongst team mates.

If we truly believe that these players are terrible and have no mental strength, what makes us think that they will be organised when the manager tries to make them do that. We're trying to separate the players mentality and actual tactics, which is a shocking analysis to me. Tactics won't work when players aren't trying to do it It’s either we think Ten Hag is bad and we have good players or we think Ten Hag is trying his best with awful players. Through years of support and torment, I know it’s the latter. All these managers can’t be the issue, doing well everywhere else and looking lost when they come to United. It’s the culture and these players

The weirdest thing is it looked like it was raining on TV. All our players soaked and they played like it. It actually wasnt raining. I live in Selhurst.

There's really nothing I can say about this game.... nothing. It just goes to show how dependent we are on bruno and arguably rashford when he's playing well. And we still have to face Arsenal, Newcastle and Brighton just for a spot in th europa league....imagine. And city in the fa cup final... how did we even get to the final? I know injuries have ruined our season but still we need to do better.... much better especially next season

What were people genuinely expecting with Casemiro and Evans at center back? They are both statues and can’t move. The reason why United were playing safe sideways and backwards passes all game long is they didn’t want to lose the ball and expose their mannequin center backs to the counter. Likewise, the full backs can’t get forward to support the attack and create overloads when they are too worried about getting caught up field and leaving Casemiro and Evans out to dry. Finally, Eriksen, Mainoo, and Mount have zero pace in the middle. As technical as all those players are on the ball you can’t have a spine of five players up the middle of the team with absolutely zero pace. So why not substitute some, or all, of those players? Because United are literally missing Varane, Martínez, Maguire, Lindelof, Kambwala, Bruno, and McTominay from the spine of the team alone. What do people actually genuinely expect?
