I recently flew United from Newark to Delhi, it was 14.5 hours long so it was very lengthy

Nice! I flew JFK-Mumbai on Delta 777 years ago. With delays it was 16 hours

Great report. Wish united departed from CDG in the afternoon though. Pros of afternoon departures: Better lunch menu options plus there is no early morning rush to get to the airport 😂

Those are vortices that are visible at slow speeds such as takeoff or landing. I do have a few videos of other flights that show the contrails in cruise when I was sitting toward the back of the plane.

On this flight the mask requirement was dropped by then. Still some people wore them.

So interesting, you board a plane using a see-through jet bridge and you arrive in the USA is a dark clostrophobic tunnel of a jet bridge that was made due to fire safety concerns. Sad.

@@sushka perhaps the US fire safety laws of the olden days are being changed now, regional airport Paine Field in Everett, WA only has 2 gates but when the airport opened a few years back, the jet bridges were and are see through which makes the boarding experience much enhanced. Maybe as major US airports begin to renovate and upgrade their facilities, they'll install new gates that give a better boarding experience with see through walls.
