I'm deeply sorry for your loss Mark, but it helps having lovely people in your life like this man. He sounds like such a gentle old soul, and I'm happy to see a friend of his happy with his newfound - albeit unintentional - fame here. He absolutely rightfully deserves it, and I could happily watch and listen to this man for hours. If I wasn't on the other side of the world I'd love to learn his art of calligraphy. Bless. 💙

You’re one of those self-hating lunatics who vehemently despise everything about your own culture & people. But worst of all must be how you derived all that from a man simply stating that he’s proud of his heritage LOL. I guess you’ve already cut them off, so telling you to grow a pair certainly won’t help. But you should do Europa a favor by tying .. the thing, and then kick the chair.

The Welsh flag is based on the Tudor and Cadwalladr Dragon who were lowly families in Wales for centuries until the true Royal British line were assassinated by the Saxon English....ofwhich they would go on and pretend to the world that they are British Royals. The Welsh were the original people of Britain, back in the days of King Arthur and the kings before him. The Anglo-Saxon (and Jute) peoples conquered the Britons (as the Welsh were once called) and Britain became Angle-land. The Britons became dispersed in England, but Wales retained some of it’s individuality, and is still it’s own place. This man is a true Briton, keeping an ancient craft alive.

When he was talking about teaching, and how he would do his best not to tell his students what to do, I was reminded of a great art teacher I had as a youth. I was one of the more advanced students in the class, and I thought I was done with the assignment, and didn't know what to do with the rest of class time. He silently led me around the classroom and pointed at other students' papers that had an element he could see was missing from my piece, and led me back to my chair to continue working. I loved that man; he was such a great teacher.

whocantexplain girls also tend to have better handwriting. I think part of the reason is that girls tend to care more for beauty and making pretty things, and so spend more effort making sure that their writing looks good, while most boys (including I as a young chap!) could care less and were more interested in just getting the point across. What practices would girls engage in more of that would make them have better fine motor skills besides handwriting?

I just wanted to say that his views are beautiful. I studied art myself and we had painting courses where the paintings looked the same because our teacher pushed us in a certain direction. I like his approach which is so much better. My wood print teacher was like him. Everyone had their own style and it was a joy.
