Gary and Ed from 'super73uk' swung by this summer and we went for a blast on the beach and had a little go on each others bikes. I always wanted to try out a Super73 and now I have. They have done a lot of upgrades on this one but it was originally the green EU friendly S73 and he had actually added gears, which is pretty clever as they come as a single speed. Still can't decide which of these I prefer... and suppliers/sellers in Scotland - I'd love to try one out. It's the way forward for my commute!

I do way prefer the UniMK. It's bigger and with longer cranks really works well as I like to pedal and feel the extra power from my legs, even if it actually doesn't do that much.
Very cool. Did you guys deflate the tires for better traction? Which bike is heavier?

They are very similar in weight. I run my tyres about 20 psi which gives good all round use

We agree with Mark - We always run at 20 PSI but we do put 24 PSI in the rear when we have 2 people on the bike.
is it possible to get throttle only on both of the bike in the UK ? due to the law restrictions, ? if not , then still can it be activated for private land in both of bike ? I know here in UK, 250W is max allowed but would like to know throttle only option for private land! also I'm confused which one to get. Super73 is coming up with RX model, amazing looking, I like it could u plz suggest as u have seen both and I have seen non yet. super 73 RX or Classical UNI MK ? which one should I get? mainly for me and my partner riding in a same bike together within city ! upcoming super 73 RX and classical UNI MK are same seat length in terms to fit two person ? apprentice your response. many thanks

Hi Dhiren. The new S73 does look good. I only ride full rigid with low ish tyre pressures and it works great. If I was allowed higher power and a throttle I'd really want full suspension. I don't know what the new S73 is like so can't really comment but I would suggest that you won't be able to get one for ages?.... I know the UniMK / Unimoke would work great.
