Unified Command will move the Dali on Monday

Unified Command has announced a date and time slated for the refloat and movement of the Dali. In a release Saturday, it announced that refloating attempts will begin midday on Sunday and begin moving the ship at high tide on Monday morning at 5:24. This announcement comes one day after newly released video from Unified Command showing crews on board the Dali as they continue clearing the wreckage following Monday’s controlled demolition.

So grateful that no one has been injured during this dangerous salvage. Hopefully the Dali is docked and road deck clearance can begin.

That's one hell of a fancy air rifle. I remember in my younger days when they were just a "crack the barrel, one slug at a time" deal.

Owners of the ship have asked to limit liability after basically committing an act of terrorism. I want to know what have they done so far to help the families of the construction workers? If it is nothing or not much yet then I see no reason not to sear them on the coals as long or forever.

The "Cover-up" continues but now, in plain sight. There are only a small handful of people that were in charge of this catastrophe that need to be held responsible for this Criminal Action.. The DECKHANDS ... Get them out of the Country.. The people in CHARGE ... That even includes the Harbour Master(s) and Pilot(s) ... They need to be Charged and Held for their Criminal Responsibilities.. WE ALL KNOW who is gonna PAY for THIS .. for the rest of their lives..

Talk about dragging this mess out! They couldn’t go any slower if they tried! Glad we are not at war and this was a blocked channel for warships!

What an ignorant comment and you obviously have no idea of what is involved in any of this. I find it amazing how fast they have been able to do this. Based on the equipment brought it and how many hours a day they have been working (7 days a week) this is clearly a "money is no object" recovery project. Once the shipping channel is fully open expect the largest equipment and extra people to vanish... At that point it will be a dismantle the old bridge (its entire length) in a reasonable amount of time - although faster than normal so they can build a new bridge - which will be built faster than normal.

You're right, in normal times this wouldn't have taken so long, but we are at war, believe you me, hence why it sat there so long. Seeing is believing. Also, I liked your comment but my liking comments privileges here have been suspended

They had to take extra long to pry all those illegals living it up on taxpayer debit cards and luxury hotels to bus them down to Baltimore to do slave labor. Those luxurious digs up in NYC was hard to let go of.
