In this video we take a look at Ubiquiti’s UNVR pro. Firstly we discuss the specifications of the UNVR pro and look at some of the features included with it. We then look at how to set up the unit and adopt a camera. We run through the UniFi protect software and some of the features within. Then take a closer look at what the 1.3@ display at the front can do. I also added the hard drive installation at the end as the drives arrived before I published the video.

The Cloud Key Gen 2 Plus definitely came with a couple of Protect stickers also. Not sure if the UDM Pro does, but the UNVR and the CloudKey Gen 2 plus defintely come with Protect stickers.

Nice, maybe it might be a new thing, the ones i purchased in the past didn't. Its been a while since i purchased one.

I haven’t tried any other way other than VPN. I don’t believe there is, or if there is, it’s not supported..
Hi, your intro is not quite correct. Unifi Protect runs on the Dream Machine Pro too (which is how I use it). Limited storage (only 1 drive) but OK for a small home tyoe setup.

Unifi Dream Machine Pro runs about the same performance level as the Unifi CKG2+ . Mind you, if start getting close to the 20 camera limit and also run high bandwidth connection from your ISP, things start to slow down dramatically. I'd really recommend investing in a UNVR for home rather than using it in the UDM Pro. Just my thoughts on it :)
