CVs almost neutralise every advantage a DD has, its so frustrating

Still viable. I play Kidd in ranked, too, full AA build. Great ship. And I actively hunt for planes. I love Kaga bcs that's almost a guaranteed AA medal if the CV doesn't avoid you. British CVs are the only thing that scares me as well as Akizuki and Asashio. Dispersion on my Kidd is awful especially when DDs are kiting away.

I love all your videos PQ, who would you consider to be a top tier DD player and or recommend to watch (besides you of course) for more tips on DD play, thanks in advance from an old dude just trying to better himself as a DD main... Love all your videos on play and ship reviews, you are awesome very well spoken and easy to follow.

I'm often the last person alive for my team and no amount of spotting will help when you're the only one on the team with a winning win rate and decent average damage/kill rate. You really need one other competent player on the team if you want anything to happen. One game this week really sums the player base up. I was spotting 5 reds at once, my entire team were behind islands with no shots. All six, 10 minutes into the game. We lost. I ended up with all 3 kills and both caps for the team and scored a total of 2,000 spotting damage. Ranked really is "kill 5 or more if you want to win" 4 isn't enough, I have a few 4 kill losses every season/sprint

When i first started to play DD i did what i was suppose to do, Contested point, spot... problem is when team neither help me take down enemy DD and also just aims in completely other directions or starting to retreat, while i got just a hellfire storm of enemy shells on my positions... even if i ask for coverfire/focus fire on DD... Now i might have turned selfish, i do spot occationally but i try to never relie on teammates, i move wherever i feel like i have best chance of survival, never in open ocean, overall my own performance has gone up and my winrate has qone up significantly Teammates in this game are just completely indiffrent whatever, a supportive DD survives or not, as long as enemy DD is dead...

This is a great report on the play of DDs in ranked.

13:00 ohh yes the cv did a great job in the end of the game we had a p2w dd who did not spot shit , did not damage shit , left the capping to the battleship , the aa support was done from behind a bb and a cruiser killing the bb in the process

Absolutely nothing. He makes a mistake and someone else capitalizes on it and like a whiny little girl he reports him for afk,poor play, etc. Honestly, I stopped watching the vid there. What a loser.

LOL WG doesn't care about reports, they don't use them. They're a function for people to use so they have an outlet and that is it. Use the feature all you want, never use the feature, it means nothing.

Doesn't matter what position you take. If there's a a CV in ranked then as a DD you are pretty fucked. As Wargaming intended.

I know everybody said it but I really found this distasteful of him doing Mass report like that I know it's a joke in this game but I'm so tired of people doing it just for existing if you don't like a class or you did a bad play that's on you but to report people just to report them is stupid I actually lost some respect for him seeing this video maybe it's because I've had so many people scream at me and chat that they're reporting me because I kill them or I'm messed up and made a bad move next thing I know I have two people stalking me in my port talking shit now you have these KZreadrs these people look up to encouraging this Behavior no wonder it's so prevalent in this game

I am playing haru and groningen at the first place but idk why every time i play haru i got Focused and i loose 1v1 fight against other dds idk why really i got better conceilment than groningen but with groningen i Performance better

What did the cv do wrong for you to report him? I didn't see chat at all.

he reported him for playing the most OP CV per its tier of all times. The fact you cannot buy it anymore (same as Smolensk) is probably the best statement how the ship is broken. That ship is a big problem for even an opposing CV with its brutal range of fighters, that on T8 ranked can effectively control almost the whole cap (8km diameter) unlike standard 6km radius. I played against it multiple times in ranked in Shokaku, mostly through frustration of trying to spot and cap in a DD while noone shooting anything, leaving flank in middle of pushes and afterwards being focused by CV; WR improved a lot afterwards. But having Enterprise as an opponent was partyl frustrating even for me and as long as it usually can afford to sail with its team on this particular map and have so many planes in reserve that is usually undeplanable for the first half of the match while it can deliver strike after strike on anything getting close to its bodyguards. I wish more CVs could go with the team like at cape Matapan, but this ship is absurd ;) And for reporting, yes. When Enterprise chases damage and goes killing ship after ship just because it can, it is frustrating gameplay and Enterprise is one of the few ships actually capable of pulling out good number of kills steadily.

I like he spam reported the CV because he misplayed and didn't smoke up. Goes to show these youtubers are an example why those "reports" are, and always will be, a feel good joke.

Enterprise is pound for pound one of the weakest CVs at 8. Old enterprise was good, but they nerfed the rockets and bombs into almost uselessness

Lives to end, ok. Spotting damage: 4139. Actual damage ~ 11K. Contribution to cap 0/120. Reports CV bc he misplayed. Eats a ton of damage twice bc he doesn't smoke after the first time he gets wrecked. So what did you do to deserve a higher score here? You got carried. This here is why I unsubbed you. Is that the best game you could find?

I got 100% wr with Enterprise in bronze so I understand the frustration with reports and 70% wr with Shima and Black in silver ....in gold it will depend from the mood ....if suicidal ill go Kremlin and if I wana chill ill go full Wesly Snipes with Vermont. PS: Playing Manfred in Ranked is boring ..... I got the record in last ranked before the ranked rework with 31 citadel hits ....my team was lamenting about FDR from the start of the game so I went and killed him in 3 strikes ....all it takes to take down any tier X CV if you are playing Manfred ...hes still the king of CV's if you know how to play him ....lame ....

Congratulations, got blasted for 10k because you weren't paying attention, and all you could do is reporting the cv player for doing what he's supposed to do. Some really adult reaction. Go ahead playing Kidd, that ship's name suits you perfectly.

A CV Player never outplay you he is playing just another game than you and cannot really punished
