My favourite part about the Halland is grinding AA missions if they appear, grabbing the Halland and never seeing a single carrier game for most of the session

A really great ship that can truly shine on a good team. I find it's almost impossible to carry with the Halland though. Those torps are fun, but to sink something with them you need to focus on the same ship over and over and burn time where another DD might have been able to get a kill and move to the next position on the map to help the team.

Great video.. I'm a newer player and loving the lessons in your focus on ships and types... This one does look like a lot of fun.

Halland is a great DD. not as competitively viable as Smaland, but it's still the better AA ship. I'd be interested in you doing a One Take on the Colbert. I got it recently, and as much as I love it, I'd also like to see what you can do with it.

@@sameerkharade7750 of course range mod Reload is not recommend since some unique French Commander has enhanced AR , and the ship is very fragile You gain tons of reload if you got smack hard

I just bought the ship (yesterday) and looking forward to play with it. I don't really have the credits to get all the upgrades yet, but soon... Thanks for the video!

That and the daring are my most used and enjoyed.

Great 2nd game. I like this ship

Yeah, Halland is a farmer. It's great support for the Team because of constant spotting and very comfortable support damage but it's really hard to carry because you're unable to make big plays.

I had one game in the Halland where I got the torpedo reload perk to trigger 5 times in one game lol. I think the reload was down to 47 ( I think, with a lot of AR as well) seconds in the end. I Ended up with 42 total torpedo hits. I got extremely lucky that game with lots of oblivious enemy BB's.

I really need to get around to grinding out that ship.

Halland causes irrational levels of fear on the red team so staying alive long enough does usually help you win a lot kinda like shimakaze, but in a few games anything can happen I guess.

I will preface with the fact that the Halland was my first T10 and is still my love, but I love the fact that my torps do so little damage but cause so much movement when incoming on the enemy... makes me smile..

I have thousdands upon thousands of hours on YT over 16 years and am subscribed and loyal to many channels and series But no notification gives me a smile and a guaranteed interesting 15 minutes than this series

Never build for gun range in Halland! Halland excels at duking it out in quick 1 Vs 1 with other DDs to then disenegage quick because of the short gun range and heal up and rinse and repeat. If you have bigger range, it means you will be spotted longer and take more damage which is unnecessary. Their short range is their saving grace.

Love your videos, now playing the Fuso a lot, instead of tier 10 german. Love it.

If I rush in and try to cap in this, I die. If I'm patient and hover just short of the cap, launch my torps as soon as I can and hit a few ships, you can stall an entire flank with this thing. The torp reload is super nice, the AA is great, but the 5K damage it does to Tier X BBs................now that does suck.

Your Yamato and Conqueror BBs felt more like AFKs. that is hard to overcome.

Tbf on the conquerer he did cap c and was creating crossfires while there were ppl on the west flank, the yamato on the other hand was absolute dogshit.

My WR on the Halland is like 30%... The ship is cursed on my account,. Yup... that first battle is what I always get. And... the second... This is pretty much what always happens when I choose Halland.... it's cursed.

You can always do the Japanese tech tree or Europe if you want to grind for the fast reload speed

My fav dd. Best reload I have had is 52 sec with Jerzy’s bonus on 30 torp hits and improved AR kicking in as well.

Match making in this game has always been really bad, but now we are throwing so many new players into the game because of amazon prime and other things that the game isn't playable anymore. Once diablo 4 comes out I will never play this game again and that makes me so happy.

Look, as much as I hate CVs, don't complain about dying to skip bombers as a DD after going pretty much broadside to them.

It's something to do with the mods he's running. There's a new one that combines navigator and running lights, but the old running lights mod is still there, and if you run both at the same time it puts the enemy ship's top speed where your detection used to go for some reason.

The fact that you have skills just to counter one class in the game speaks volumes of how broken that class is. CV's and subs have no place in this game.

I do love the Halland. The sad part is when you land 10-20 torpedoes, look at the damage and then think about Japanese torps ;) Landing two torps on the DD in a smokescreen and not getting a kill is also a bit sad.

Your team was INSISTENT on losing that second game lol. So many poor moves by them while you broke your back trying to carry

I checked that turd on shimakaze from the first battle you had. Has 116 PR on account, after almost 1k battles. He’s doing T4-5 dmg levels on his Montana. Terrible player. Super casual dude playing 2 years (though he didn’t play at all the whole 2021). And how such guy has 2 T10s in 1k battles? In 2016 playing in that way he would barely have a T9.

Against seconda shima you should have used two separate spreads, not overlap. That may have killed him.
