You made a comment saying that if you DCP, it's impossible to damage your torp tubes and won't reset the reload? I assume it applies to Gun Turrets, fires, rudder etc?

As much as I love to see a CV get dumpstered, it’s potato CVs like that, that makes WG look at the spreadsheet and say “see? Nakhimov is fair and balanced” A Pyrrhic victory.

Incorrect. Regardless of what the game says. WG already decided what the spreadsheets say. Nakhimov is fair and balanced, what you see in your games are exceptions.

You in a DD is like watching a master class on how to use that class of ship. It's so enjoyable to watch, making it look easy. In reality, it's anything but easy and you certainly have honed your craft. Your one of two channels I still watch regarding WOW. You and the Mighty Jingles, the rest are just background noise.

Tbh I can’t stand creators like Flambass and whoever else I’ve forgotten. Flambass fuels his gameplay on ego which is why he’s a CV player, a lot others don’t bash shitgaming hard enough for the exceptional level of dogshit they have done or the game. Malta is a good streamer too, altough he focuses on current gameplay instead of more corporate stuff like Weegee change logs and gambling scheme number 284.

I like how you farmed 51 planes and his squadrons are still showing up at full capacity. Like... why even include deplaning as a concept on paper at all?

I was in a Haaland like 2 days ago and enemy Malta was torturing me the entire time with torps and bombs, spotting was just the icing on the cake.

If this makes you happier, I managed to wipe out more than 20 malta carpet bombers in less than 2 minutes in my Jinan the other day because the animal kept running into DFAA flaks. There will be times when AA work, and when it works its the best time.

@@forge16hanadamaintenancedr43 not the smartes CV player. as CV main learning which ship you should avoid sending planes and target the weakest link in enemy team is the key. like never ever sent planes to ships like jinan, shitro, mino, or halland that has full or mid health

@@antcommander1367 Malta is an exception, its AP bombers are a special counter to all light cruisers other than worcestor because her AP bombs can citadel those ships. When executed well it can destroy a light cruiser in only 2 drops. That's why I mentioned it as an especially sweet moment because the player had the counter but had no idea how to use it.

So far my best plane kills in the Halland is 66. It is such a nice feeling as it makes me not really mind if my torps all miss. Ruining a carriers day is just so sweet.

Flamu, I have to say that I don't think there's anyone on youtube that explains the thought processes of game play as clearly as you do. Many tell you what they are doing (Malta, Carbine C, etc.), but not clear about the reasoning behind it. Why we make choices is everything. Old guy playing not even 3 years and I've pick up much from you over that time. Thanks, keep them coming.👍👍

the Yamagiri looked like he reacted so slow to the torps. Still good predict by flamu, most of the time when i try to blind torp a cap I use wide range to "cover more" and slightly angle more the second set to close the gaps between torps. Flamu has a good idea of which movement the dd is probably doing. I guess thousand of hours gives you that. In those cases I cant make those kinds of suppositions. I probably will thought that the dd will be more far and no broadside

Flamu is a genius. Hope lore people watch his content. Matches would be more interactive and interesting if more people learned from him.

Had a kitakaze ranked game the other day and got a good 70 planes shot down after being harassed by him all game, Funny thing was, he was still sending full squadrons by the end lmao Admittedly it was a Kaga, and a chunk of them were fighters as usual

I see far to many DDs push to hard to early to die. Rushing to caps right at start. I always tell new dd players staying alive is most important thing. The longer you live the more dangerous you become.

I step away for 1 minute and come back to see 21 plane kills... heh

The amount of predictions and brain you need to play this good in a torpedo DD and considering the average playerbase no doubt most torp DDs die so quick

I wish there was stat that shows how much % of ship hp did you take down instead of just flat out damage done.

I was in a game with a good stats Halland who said “send planes” in chat. Super uni Malta did, and killed him quickly, getting off two ~full strikes per squad.

This is why I currently have both Halland and Dalarna fully outfitted. My Halland is a torp build with RPF, similar to Flamu's and my Dalarna is full AAA build just for sh!ts and giggles. In the Halland I still managed to get 100 plane kills as my record and in the Dalarna I got 115 planes downed in my very first game (and haven't beaten it yet). It's just fun torturing the CVs. That being said, in my first game with the Dalarna I also got killed in the end because of the constant spotting from the CV - he did not manage to strike me even once, but everyone was taking potshots at me when I shoot the planes down. Just to double the fun I got from deplaning him - it was a Nakhimov.

The excellent play against the animal gets a like from me. Looking forward to see you torture a sub soon

Hey Flamu, would you do a compact vid for dd's "pro" tipps? Torp predict how to get close, when to torp n maybe also on gun dd's. I feel like dd s are often the class where people fuck up everything without even realising..

My worcester is a full AA build and i must say i completly love it Except for the nakhimov, it can pretty much shoot everything down, not even FDR plane tankyness can last for long Allows really agressive positioning, thanks to that i always can support my dds with anything (Altho i dont last for long due to BB overmatch lmao)

a lot of DD drivers can learn a thing or two from watching this video. You dont always have to push bow into the flank to be doing your job as the destroyer. The patience and explanations given for each circumstance throughout the video should easily level up a destroyer driver several times over if the information is taken in and practiced correctly.

I removed rdf from my torp boats, it just alerts the target to start dodging when the located notification pops up. Enemy goes to the most predictable spot 9/10 times, anyway.

RPF is best skill for DD. Have it on all of my fav DDs (neutrashimy, grozovoi, halland). Not running just on Elbing, but thats cruizer in DD slot.

Most i had in Halland was 72, CV just kept coming so i kept shooting :).

Has Flamu commented on or experienced the glitch where when trying to fire guns or torps, you ping the minimap instead?

My highest damage dd is gearing with like 230k. Gimme a Kita or groningen and I'll do 125k avg. Some games you just don't hit torps

Same logic why Elbing the biggest DD in the game has same concealment like for example Sherman which is much smaller ship...

That CV is the reason why WG doesnt touch CV. They see garbage like this and go "Well he didnt try to dodge flak and missed all the drop. I dont understand why people are so mad at CV." Same thing apply for subs

@@lifdrazor well i didn't mean to be too mean about it. flamu is a crazy good dd capt... i mean he'd drive any cv driver nuts with how he dodges those drops. still. speaking in general. hallands are notoriously one of the few t10 ships with AA that matters, so spending a lot of time and effort hunting the halland down was odd in the first place. usually nakamov captains spend their time farmng bbs for big damage numbers. so kudos (i guess) to the nakamov capt for trying to help his team kill a dd instead of going for big damage numbers. but a halland? not sure i would have kept swinging and missing a halland that kept dodging my drops if i were him. but that dude was just determined to get him i guess. which is how he managed to lose 51 planes to him... again, don't get me wrong. i mean it's possible to lose 51 planes to a halland, lord knows i've shot down more then that in a halland, but for a nakamov to do it is a special type of cv captain. it's one of the few cvs that are not superships i'd expect not to lose much to a halland. that said i think i shot down 70 nakamov planes in a desi once, but that was only because the nakamov was a special type of stupid, and he parked on the other side of the island i was hiding behind

I find it so amusing to hear of people complain about torp boats. Those are the people that are generally dogshit at this game.

I run my nakhimov secondary spec for just these situations 11.2km range and conceal is 11.5 so if you can see me i can likely hit you
