I remember hearing that the reason the Saleen S331 Supercab came about was because someone at Saleen made an oopsie when ordering vehicles (ordering F-150s instead of Mustangs) and rather than send the trucks back and try to get their money back Steve Saleen went "Fuck it, we're modifying trucks now."

We need more Tommy Kairas in the racing games.

This video series is essentially racing game unicorn car lore! I really like the additional info about the vehicles and their appearances in each game they’re in. It’s a great way to shed light on these machines a majority of car enthusiasts may have not heard of. Great stuff! :)

The Rocket was a pretty busted car if you maxed it out actually. You could win every race in the final iA championship with enough effort driving it. Having a near 1:1 power to weight is a big factor for that.

I could recommend some cars that I personally only remember in TOCA Race Driver, like GMD DPRS T-230, Proton Satria GTi, Marcos Mantis GT3, TVR Tuscan Challenge, AC Cobra CRS, Marcos LM600, Lola MG EX257 Le Mans and some more. If I'm wrong and there are in more than 2 games please tell me.

The Cobra CRS also reappears in TOCA Race Driver 2 and Race Driver 2006, but other than that, those are good unicorns, especially the Satria.

For your next video, can you please do Open Wheel Race Cars in Racing games? I'm not sure if you do requests, but if you can do that, I bet that maybe the Formula DXB MAX (a car from the Dubai Autodrome) could be in a racing game. If not, maybe Real Racing 3 should add this car, because it has the Dubai Autodrome track.

here many will not rightly know but the fiat cinquecento rally group A5 had minimum specifications. It's already an exceptionally light car so by stripping it of the interior it becomes a feather. the only modifications allowed were the control unit and complete exhaust line and brake line equipping it with discs at the rear. the control unit is owned by FIAT and it asks the teams a very expensive rent to be able to access the ECU data. but this does not mean that with this ecu the engine is able to reach incredible speeds even though it is a simple 1200 cc with 53 horsepower. there are tuners in Italy who have managed to extract even 200 horsepower from this simple engine with the engine closed and even 450 horsepower by forging it. FIAT always manages to create engines that have remarkable potential even where you would never believe it.

ik it's a bit out of topic but you will check out the new WRC game coming out at November? the car list in that game has a really interesting new cars that that never appeared in a racing game before

4x4 Evo is also to my knowledge the only game that ever featured the Lexus RX300.

For some reason, there’s a lot of unicorns in asphalt 8 and 9, like the Mercedes Biome/Silver Lightning that I don’t think were in any other games

Looks more reused from the PC port, the PS1 only have 3-2 different sound effects, unlike the PC version which have more.

It was only the 156, the predecessor of the 159, that was featured in S.C.A.R. if I'm not mistaken.

I forgot, but I mean, TOTALLY forgot about the Rocket in Gran Turismo 6. I'm not sure I played a lot with this car, lmao. But I do remember it in PGR4. Also, may we suggest cars for future videos?

I really wanted to play the crew motorfest, but in my actual financial situation it’s just impossible. This game is too expensive to maintain, you pay high for the game and pay higher for content in game, this is garbage!

Neither is Driver San Francisco. But "Racing Game" is more common to say than "Driving Game", and the latter would cause too much confusion where the lines should be drawn.
