Ederson is way better

Ederson's behaviour was a total disgrace and unprofessional in full view of the cameras. His actions were like a petulant child throwing their toys out of the pram. No player is bigger than the manager or the club. It was the right decision, for his wellbeing, and for his ability to continue in the match. Pep was proved right and Ortega was right to be MOTM. That substitution could be the turning point in City winning the PL on Sunday.

Those days 20-30 years ago, no player I believe, will do such a thing when substituted (kicking chair etc). Understandably, feel shitty when substituted but its always about the team and not an individual. Lack of respect in my own opinion.

It always baffles me when players get injured and suffer a blow to the head or face causing concussion or visual impairment, how they often object like children when substituted. If they carried on and were then to take another secondary blow to the head, it could prove fatal. In fact City's medical team were severely at fault for allowing Ederson to continue even for just 5 minutes after his collision with Romero. In Rugby if a player suffers concussion they are taken off the field of play immediately with no arguments.
