One of the great rock bands of all time.

Lots of old timers in the crowd, they know real rock and roll when they hear it.

Life was so much easier music was at its best such a great time to be alive

Every song they recorded back in the day was a 70s anthem masterpiece of great top 40 music.

One of the greatest bands growing up in the 70’s. Love their music.

The Doobie Brothers are an Americn National Treasure. Their music is still loved and relevant 50 years after first recorded world wide. Justin Beiber are you taking notes?

Love this band! Their music NEVER gets old.

Now this is how i like to see Americans enjoying fantastic music. This is how j remember my teenage years listening to great artists, musicians from America.

pretty much EVERY Doobie show is a GOAT. Saw them in the early 70's and saw them 3 years ago and they STILL rock it. NO old man sound at 1/2 the energy we remember.

Easily one of my top 20 favorite songs of all time!! Released in 1972 - I love this band !!!

Was there for my 50th birthday. Great tunes, great wine, great venue. Wish they were still happening there. Thanks Bruce and DBs! As the limo driver said when he dropped us off, “life as it should be.”

Tom Johnston is as good as ever -- voice and guitar. Used to work with a woman who went to high school with Patrick Simmons. She said Patrick was great guy. Doesn't seem to have changed. Best wishes to all.

No shootings, no fights, no gangsters and nothing but good music and people having a great time...Now this is a concert :-)

The Doobie Brothers never get the respect they deserve. IMO they are one of the great rock groups of all time. I do prefer them with TJ over Michael McDonald but both versions are/were great. @@MrLuisSpadotto

The Doobie Brothers are one of our greatest bands. So glad they are still making music with so many of the original members. They are great guys who put on dazzling concerts. Keep rockin down the highway boys!!!!

Johnston still loves singing this song and having a good time with his band after all these years....

I was there. Bruce Cohen winery's annual October rock fest. Tommy, Pat and the Doobs rocked the outdoor joint. It was a benefit for National Veterans Foundation. Doobies forever! Michael the Vet. RVN late 60's.

I will never forget mid seventies Doobie brothers at a place upstate New York …..Hunter Mt. I worked for the promoter of the venue Music Mountain. Weekend concerts all summer long We worked hard and played hard with all of the bands. Amazing time at 20 years old! Thank you Jack Adato! (Supreme Artists)

And on the 8th day....God created the Doobie Brothers and he looked at them and said it is good!! Rock on!

Now this is a band everyone should see live! The Doobie Bros.! I was fortunate enough to see them live with Michael mcdonald.the Allman bros.was the opening act. Great show & two great bands!

THIS music and a very few pieces like it are the very essence of the human experience. If there are many other captured in so many different ways than its hard to pin them down. THIS is as good as it gets!

if you are a child of the 70s you understand this distorted music,they are still rocking so who cares! Tom is still a great singer and this brings back great memories!

Boy, it must be nice to be able to remember the 70's. All I remember is that I graduated high school right in the middle of it. I even got pictures. People dressed funny then.

I've seen the Doobies 4x . First in 75 and the last time in 2014 . Always great . It keeps me running .

@@JoseHerrera-vs8nv Montrose! I listened to them in 1975 in San Francisco. They rocked. We went to the Friday night concerts at Winterland and saw Journey, the Doobie Brothers and so many more for $6 bucks and three bands.

Man that WAS great! I thought the title of this was probably exaggerating! Nope.

Man, the DBs could sing. I remember sitting on the school bus thinking about this song... we were all young then. :)

It's amazing about music, that even though the band members may grow old, and weary but the music remains the same, and still to this day still attracts new and younger listeners, and that my friends keeps the music playing:):):)

They are so cool nobody has ever said anything bad about The Doobie Brothers. Great Rock and Roll.

When I was a kid my mother T short for Trish, father and I lived right next door to these gentlemen in New Orleans for a while , as you can imagine there was a lot of barbecue chicken cold beer and music as well as day spent swimming out in the bayou. Nowadays even long after they've moved on their music Still inspires me , it was the beginning for me and it's the primary reason I pick up the guitar every single day until my fingers are bruised. Huge respect for these gentlemen. Still love that ol black water

Back in the day I played in a cover band and as a drummer I love playing this song and our audience would get up and dance and we will have the best time ever thank you for the Doobie Brothers for such a great song

I saw the Doobies in san jose in 1971...they still rock!

When you are this good there is no better.

I am 50, so the Doobies were a bit before my time....but I wish they weren't. This is music. I love these guys.

Still sounds good.Happy that Pat and Tom have remained close.Everyone having a good time here👍🏻

Donna Glick Had a Friend in High School that was so upset about Lynyrd Skynyrd plane crash. If someone brought it up he would punch you in the face. High School was cool I played Baseball & Football. 1 problem I still had my IRISH Freckels on my face. Some girls thought they were cute. Freckels in IRELAND are called ANGEL KISSES. I did get lucky hooked up with a girl that looked like Stevie Nicks from Fleetwood Mac. Also got a union job 2 weeks after graduating. And being IRISH I knew my limits with Alcohol. Whats with todays singers they sing 1 good song & there considered a Superstar. Im so IRISH all 3 names are IRISH JAMES PATRICK O'GRADY. HA HA I still listen to Partridge Family music. ERIN GO BRAGH

i saw the doobie's 4 times during the 70's truely one of the top 10 classic rock bands of all time along with wings.. heart.. skynyrd.. tom petty

Always loved their tribute to Northern California, "Ukiah". Beautiful song.

I was fortunate to be a member of BR Cohn winery, mostly because of the good wine, but the connection between the Doobie brothers for many many years and enjoyed more of these fall music festivals that I can remember, but I will tell you they are some of the best memories of my adult life No intimate venues like that exist anymore pretty much, and these were some of the best and with the Doobies connections to rock ‘n’ roll every great old school musician and band appeared and played at these incredible annual fall music festivals Great times, and memories that I will keep with me forever 🤙🏻😎🙏

I remember the band from the Chateau days...an old restaurant turned bar in the Santa Cruz mountains that was a popular hangout for local Hells Angels and Gypsy Jokers, the Doobie Bros were kinda the unofficial house band I guess around 1970. I think those gigs launched their career. I never saw those shows, having been a guest of the San Mateo County criminal justice system for much of 1970. I lived in SJ in the 60's-early 70's and recall hearing the band practicing at their place on S 12th St a few times. Crazy times.

Those ladies dancing are quite a collection.

So much fun to see those people have so much fun. Lol Especially these days when this activity is disallowed.

It's AMAZING to me that most of the people in the background most likely weren't even BORN YET when this song fist came out. That's a tribute to how well these songs have stood the test of time.
