As a 62 year old musician,it gives me a smile to see in these videos of the old rockers still performing- I HATE the term "classic rock"- that,no matter who the band is,there are always teenagers,or even younger,in the crowd, loving the music.Good taste transcends age.

What do you think is wrong with the term "classic rock"? I think it just describes a certain style or genre of - BTW - great music. I have a collection of about 300 CDs of Classic Rock, and I love them all!

Hey, I was just watching a string of Doobie Brothers videos! And I can't get enough of their 1972 concert, (26 minutes long), I could watch that over and over! In that concert, the lead singer, Tom Johnston, was and is, still a strong and determined song bird! He is a Leo, and true to their nature, he is consistently brave, and just keeps going and going. Ladies, Leo men are exciting lovers, but you can't stop them from being roving romeos! Haha. Also, in that 1972 concert, Patrick Simmons sang a brief solo song, that was haunting me in my head last night, but I didn't get a chance to re-watch the concert video, so when this video is finished, I'm heading over to that old concert video!

A song of Clint's that echos your sentiment about time travel is State of Mind. Very much worth a listen.. Ain't it funny how a melody can bring back a memory Take you to another place in time Completely change your state of mind It can make a right from a wrong, it can make you fall in love It can get you singin' along Chase the clouds away and make the sun shine above

So freaking cool to see these guys still performing and the old guys, just like me, singing and dancing in the crowds. Still love these guys, still after 50 years of "listening to the music", their music! Bravo!!!

This is one of The All-time Greatest Bands ever to be Assembled. I wonder exactly how full the stage would be with Every Doobie Brothers Member that has ever performed with the Band !!!! I Believe That The Doobie Brother's has the most Members, past and present to have Performed for One Bsnd.

I'm 52 yrs old now...I absolutely love seeing fans my age & older singing this song, swaying with the music, eyes closed, & just lost in a time & memory that was long ago...if they're anything like me, they're not far from SWEET TEARS OF YESTERDAY!!! I am so glad that I got to grow up in the 70s & 80s & experience ALL THE GREAT GREAT MUSIC!!! I put The Doobie Brothers on the top shelf with Supertramp, Meatloaf, The Who, The Rolling Stones, Fleetwood Mac, Queen, Foreigner, Cheap Trick, & Styx...just to name a few!!! I have always said 1976-1984 was the best years of MUSIC in my opinion. Much love from Mobile Alabama.
