As a 62 year old musician,it gives me a smile to see in these videos of the old rockers still performing- I HATE the term "classic rock"- that,no matter who the band is,there are always teenagers,or even younger,in the crowd, loving the music.Good taste transcends age.
@laoluu

What do you think is wrong with the term "classic rock"? I think it just describes a certain style or genre of - BTW - great music. I have a collection of about 300 CDs of Classic Rock, and I love them all!
After 50 years, they still sound better than 80% of the music put out today. Love these guys.

What the people need is more of this classic rock in their life. It’s 2023 and I would love to see them in concert before the year is over.
It is not possible to like this video enough!
Hey, I was just watching a string of Doobie Brothers videos! And I can't get enough of their 1972 concert, (26 minutes long), I could watch that over and over! In that concert, the lead singer, Tom Johnston, was and is, still a strong and determined song bird! He is a Leo, and true to their nature, he is consistently brave, and just keeps going and going. Ladies, Leo men are exciting lovers, but you can't stop them from being roving romeos! Haha. Also, in that 1972 concert, Patrick Simmons sang a brief solo song, that was haunting me in my head last night, but I didn't get a chance to re-watch the concert video, so when this video is finished, I'm heading over to that old concert video!
Ageless treasure. All time favorite band.
Tom Johnston, Patrick Summon.. And their friends still rock 🌟
My God....................excellent Band......................................unforgetable..........................
How are all the old dudes able to keep doing this? They all MUST be doing EVERYTHING to be in their very best shape. It’s the only way?!
Fantastic! Great band. Wonderful performers. This is real music. It’s eternal
I love to see how the people of our generation can still live these moments of great joy with their idols. D.B. is one of my favorite bands since I was a teenager and forever. Go Doobie Bros.!!!

I'm from New Orleans. Love Black Water. Pat Simmons said he was in New Orleans when he wrote the song. I could tell. Been following the Doobies since the seventies when I was a teenager. Great time to be alive. Great music.
Comfort food for my soul. And, one of the most polished bands in existence.
This song is so beautiful I can’t stop playing this song it’s one of my all time favourite and the guys still sounds great after all these years.
These past couple of years, our world has moved off its axis for many of us. For me, after playing this, it’s moved back in place.
The Doobies are like a comfortable pair of shoes I've worn my entire life! #Respect
Amazing! They sound just as good after 50 freaking years.

Neat to see people in the audience that weren't even born when the Doobies rolled onto the scene in the 70's!

I absolutely love love them, all of them! I do miss the vocalist that was with them in the 80s. They all look like they’re still having a great time and so am I at 65. I listen to them quite often and still love them as much as I did in the 70s in Santa Barbara! Saw them with Michael McDonald two months ago 50th anniversary Las Vegas and they were still totally awesome!✌️🤩👍

For a few years now, since we’re able to find and listen to pretty much any of the favorite music that has meant so much to us over the years anytime we want, I listen to music again, now, mostly at night. And this band’s music is what I listen to most often, especially The Captain and Me; I love the original era of the band the best. I realize now the amazing power music has for so many good things. Although not a big country, having lived in Dallas for 8 years in the late '70s I discovered some of Clint Blacks music. A song of Clint's that echos your sentiment about time travel is State of Mind. Very much worth a listen.. Ain't it funny how a melody can bring back a memory Take you to another place in time Completely change your state of mind It can make a right from a wrong, it can make you fall in love It can get you singin' along Chase the clouds away and make the sun shine above
I was playing in a rock band in 1972. This was one of our favorite cover tunes.
I have always felt that The Doobie Brothers are Pure Musicians. Legends that shape our modern day music and mind you they are still kicking it.. such class!!
I've enjoyed this song for decades. Always enjoyed the Doobie Brothers.

I am so glad that I got to grow up in the 70s & 80s & experience ALL THE GREAT GREAT MUSIC!!! I put The Doobie Brothers on the top shelf with Supertramp, Meatloaf, The Who, The Rolling Stones, Fleetwood Mac, Queen, Foreigner, Cheap Trick, & Styx...just to name a few!!!
