I have seen the Doobs twice in 6 weeks this summer and they only get better. Sadly Tom is temporarily off the tour due to back surgery and praying good health and healing to/for him in Jesus' Name. But John Cowan was spectacular filling in for Tom Johnston especially at the Illinois State Fair. There are not too many bands with this high level of musical synchronicity, flair, coordination and a wide range of the blend of rock and roll, jazz and soul all rolled up into one 2.5 hour nonstop package of musical excellence. There will never be another Doobie Brothers. Come back soon, Tom!

Just saw them twice during their Las Vegas residency with Michael McDonald. They never cease to amaze me. An incredibly talented bad. Why it took so long for them to get into the RRHOF is baffling. Music today can't hold a candle to their talent.
