@@hypemaine9155 I saw only a few attempts in the first season game to set up screens ... and they were pathetic. Clark's passes are much more effective when the receiver of those passes is prepared for it. They are reactionary instead of being proactive. Sides believes in her players running around haphazardly hoping that they get lucky. PRACTICE setting up effective screens with repetitive drills. The same with drills for proactive passes to include running to open spaces relatively free from defensive players. The Fever players camp out under or near the basket no matter if they are open or not. They need to develop quick hands and quick reactions ... that comes from drills to develop those skills. The players are capable, but the coach is not. I have seen high school teams with better offensive skills and that is Christie Sides' fault. She is not doing her job. She is using the same failed tactics that got the Fever a 13-27 win-loss record in the 2023-24 season. But go ahead and keep sucking up to the racist divas.

@@nrobinson7542 agree, but Boston needs to up her game, as well. Girl can’t run the court for one. Plus, other team members just letting CC fight off the double teaming til she has no option but to unload the ball blindly towards the paint. Thought I was watching a local YMCA game…pathetic team display.

This team is so much slower than Iowa. So it's not just her that has to learn...those other girls need to catch up to HER!!! It looks to me like there is almost zero team chemistry. Some of the calls by the coach were also quite questionable. There are girls on the bench that would be waaaaay better suited to her game. Let's not forget that her assist numbers would be way up, but Bosten missed a bunch of easy 2's right under the basket. The whole team needs to play with desperation every single game. Other than the turnovers, which I would put at about 50% her fault, she dropped 20. Almost 3/4 of the teams total points...and against the top defensive team in the league. The coach needs to let her play her game and control the floor. You don't sign the highest scorer in NCAA history and then try to change her game.

As she develops that and it starts to slow down for her she’s going to be box office! Think about it if she had a bad game and dropped 21 imagine when it all starts coming together for her? Scary hours for the league

Sure the league is smaller, but imagine the quality of play if they had 32 teams instead of 8 or w/e lol. They wouldn’t be able to roster more than 10 teams lol. NBA could roster 40 teams easy and still be elite

Let's be honest... way to much pressure has been put on CC from the start as the savior of WNBA. That aside, her team is not good. Boston only have a few points is not good. It seems like there was either a lack of game plan or a poor game plan, which is a coaching issue. The players seemed to just be wondering around on the court. When CC started playing "her game", it seemed like she settled in a lot more, and gained confidence. But, if CC had her "worst game", and still was the highest scorer on the team.... that says something. But like everyone has said, its her first game... CC had 20 points, needs to protect the ball much better and get used to the faster and more physical play in WNBA, which she will... and she could/should be the superstar that she is.
