I wouldn’t underestimate what the combination of Wemby’s gravity, CP3’s full leadership, and Barne’s versatility can do to improve a team and it’s players. If healthy the Spurs might look like a serious playoff contender by mid season.

Also Devin Vassell has all star potential, and Castle is going to grow into a hell of player too. Spurs also have 3-4 1st round picks in 2025 which is a stacked draft class. Spurs are about to become a monster team.

I still don't think people understand how great CP3 is and was.

CP3 is the most “Spurs” type of player we have had since Kawhi. Paul doesn’t know the reason he and spurs agreed on a contract. He just wants to play, and I know pop would offer him a starting role. Not only to help the team play more fluid but also to ensure it’s CP3 will be happy with his role on the court.

Nah, he does. Everybody his age does need help from vets. CP3 is going to teach him how to be assertive because he wasn't, considering how many times his teammates wouldn't pass him the ball last season. Wemby's a great kid, but it takes a different kind of leadership when you have selfish/dumb teammates.

Keep in mind that prime Chris Paul was one of the best Point Guards ever! He was perfect. And last season with the warriors was his worst and only bad season in his entire career in the NBA. But one bad season doesn’t mean anything, I think he’s still VERY valuable. Same goes for Damian Lillard, Bradley Beal, Jimmy Butler, Kawhi Leonard, Paul George, Ben Simmons, Brandon Ingram, Klay Thompson and maybe more. Unlike Westbrook “in my opinion” These players are better than what the media and 2k ratings say they are!

Cp there to get them young guys in line. Wemby included in excited for his leadership. He’s perfect for a young team. I’m hoping for OKC affect

Cp3 is starting with Vassel at Sg and Tre Jones as backup Pg and Castle as backup Sg. But eventually Castle will probably develop into more of a starting Pg role, as Castle said he wants to play Pg.

Cp3 has been taking care of his body for a long time now and even switched to a vegan based diet. Sure injuries are a part of the game but you can do preventative stuff to prevent. I think Monty Williams wore down all the Suns starters but the bench wasn’t good at all so he had overworked Booker and Cp3…both kinda wore down with the finals trip and a franchise record sixty something wins the following year. Anyways I think Cp can play starters minutes this season low 30’s and maybe. 35 or so in the playoffs. Yes non barring injures the Spurs will make the playoffs this season. Cp3’s out there hooping right now. He’s one of those hoppers that can’t wait to be in the gym every day! I’ve been following him since he was drafted (I’m a Pels fan btw). Just listen to his Spurs interview from the other day. That’s genuinely him N he tells it how it is.

CP3 does not need to follow the trend of point guards leading the scoring. He is there to be the point guard in the traditional sense. Pop style of play uses the point guards as playmakers not finishers.

It is clear that Paul Pierce has no knowledge of wembys personality or work ethic

The only experience the point fraud brings to the team is how to choke in big game situations. Paul isn't what he was in New Orleans, Houston or LA. Harrison Barnes is on the decline. Wemby isn't enough and by the time the front office builds a team around him he's going to leave in free agency, assuming that he doesn't end up like Porzingis with a bad back and multiple knee surgeries. The team didn't really get better, just older.

CP3 doesn't try and win a ring, what does that say about the NBA? All about money and its just as good as professional wrestling all fixed
