Furthermore, everyone says the nuggets can’t guard all of the Twolves guys, but I think the same is true vice versa… the nuggets 3rd option is averaging over 20 on insane efficiency I just don’t know how they stop everyone

I think the Nuggets are in trouble vs MIN. Their bench has not done anything this post season. Their starters are giving them all the production. MIN is also bigger with KAT and Gobert, and their defense has a lot do quick guards and wings as well.

Gordon’s shot from three is even worse this year than in the past. As far as Porter and Murray are concerned, they not gonna get open threes like they did against the Lakers. The Wolves just don’t give up open threes. I’ve watched them all season… if a dude gets an uncontested open three, the wolves are callin a time out. It’s just unacceptable for them. They are elite at defending the parameter(staying attached to their man, maneuvering around screens and helping out in coverages), not to mention Rudy’s presence in the lane. Wolves have length, depth and speed on the wings. You can say the Suns were dysfunctional, but so what? The wolves destroyed them as they should have. Dominated them and then closed them out on the road.🤷‍♂️ Denver struggled against a Lakers squad that had to make the play in tourney(without any serious injuries to blame for their poor season). You can say "we were just off” "Murray was injured" etc etc okay fine… yall better figure it out. Because a hungry talented deep team that was specifically designed to beat you, is coming. He challenged Joker this year another big body to throw at him, wear him down. Rudy holds the edge in all time wins in his career vs Jokic, 19 to 17. What has ANT won in this league? I like ANT. Hell of a talent. But against Denver? You all will soon be humbled when you use Phoenix as a measuring stick. Jamal has the resume in big games at the highest level of basketball. ANT has yet to play at that highest level - the jury is still out on him. Talk to me after the Wolves make a deep playoff run.

Karl-anthony towns has to play big as well. It just can't be all Anthony Edwards. If Anthony Edwards goes nuclear but Karl Anthony towns doesn't get his averages or more and gets in foul trouble which he does do a lot of Minnesota is not going to win.

So Minnesota had all this same size last year. And last year I saw Anthony go wild and I’m expecting he will again this year. But to say Denver only has a slight edge is wild. Rudy’s won that many sure but he gives up a wild amount to Joker. The only problem will come if KCP and Mal can’t recover. Porter is playing significantly better than last year and AG is in even more flow with this team, with this offense. Watson off the bench in defense of Ant will be fun to watch. He will see bigger minutes I imagine. Mike will have to step up to guard him too and with that length, he can do it. Denver does need to clean some things up but chances are higher that they will return to form after getting challenged like this then the chances of Ant becoming a god and upsetting the best team. He wants to talk about that 2-2 record this season but not how silly the Nuggets made the Wolves look in the last game of the season. The Twin Towers stood no chance against Jokic. He had 41 in a playoff like game at home. Then the game before that on the road he had 35 for a W in Minnesota. The 2 wins for Minnesota? Game 10 of the year where Denver is just getting the younger guys in the flow. The other game was middle-late in the season where KCP and Murray sat out.

You are aware that Jaden was out last year right? You are aware that Naz was out last year right? You are aware KAT was still recovering from a torn calf muscle last year right? Wolves damn near beat Denver at home this year WITHOUT Naz, KAT and Gobert. They then went to Denver and smacked them around for a victory after that. We had our injury bug years and used those excuses back then too, except that we had the superior players on the DL who are now healthy ready to go. KAT/Gobert/Reid/Jalen are all inferior players to MPJ and Murray. Good role players for sure and having a big like Rudy is nice…for everybody but Denver. Your twin towers were supposed to be this big threat last year but the only reason you won ONE game last year was because of Ant. And I expect he could go get you one again this year. Denver knows the slow starts are going to stop, they just need a more exciting team than the Lakers. You guys have some length sure but it’s not enough to stop us, as you recall last game was what you can expect more of. You think you’re primed and ready but Denver is even more so with the two best players in the playoffs right now. Ant is #3. Maybe Brunson. Suns were an easy matchup and not a real contender this year. The only reason you made it out of the first round is because you didn’t have us again.

Idk if Jamal is truly even better than KAT? Murray showed up in the clutch for Denver vs LA. But for the series he scored 23 ppg on 40/30/86 shooting splits. That's not good. Minnesota has 3 excellent perimeter defenders between McDaniels, Ant, and NAW. The only thing that truly stops KAT is himself. If he stays out of foul trouble, he is going to cook AG. Top 5 players between Timberwolves and Nuggets imho. Jokic clearly #1 Ant KAT Murray Gobert

To be honest, if we are talking overall game impact, Gobert could be #3 on that list. I'd probably give Murray a slight edge over KAT, due to consistency. No way Murray should be above ANT.

I know the Nuggets are reigning champs but I like what the TWolves have become. Naz and J.Mac didn't even play in the playoffs last year. Our bench is deeper, 6th man of the year and D is stifling. They devoured the Suns. They've got Jokic, we've got Ant. It's gonna be a dog fight. Too close to call.
