I can tell you that the controls seem easy, but the requirements of holding an arrow key and pressing a key at the same time is deceptively difficult.

I love how in genocide route, Clover doesn't dance. They just avoid bars until El Bailador notices they don't want to dance. Very clever detail.

The reason why it becomes very difficult to play at high speeds is because our brains do not take reactionary multitasking very well. Holding one key whilst pressing another key is too much for our brains to naturally handle in the fourth attack and onwards. Without prior cognitive experience with the controls, you’ll usually either forget to hold the arrow or press the key. Essentially, this fight was DESIGNED for you to die.

The controls for the rhythm attacks are pretty awkward, but I didn't find them too bad. I've never taken more than 2 tries to beat him.

They DO if you actually time the notes. I honestly mildly dislike the controls, having played a bunch of rhythm games before. I was expecting it to be bound to Z, X, and C, but no. It's the left and right arrow keys and Z. @@solisruben296

one of my favorite characters easily

El Bailador; the guy that leaves regardless of what you do to him.

I ❤ El Bailador, and the people who only hate him as a whole just because of his battle. Yeah it couldve been executed better, but he literally the silly and had good intentions, unlike other characters.

This fight didn't kill me but the first time was a bit rough with the slightly janky controls, so I played it a second time for fun to see if I could do better, which I did by a lot. Everhood prepared me for this.

they shoulda made it one continuous turn so the music would be less choppy and then some of the notes would heal you if you hit them

I wish the trumpets in Danza gone a little bit harder in the official version, also this version with the battle notes is better than the original 100%. Edit: I also wish the battle notes were for longer but besides that I still like Danza, the underdog song of Bailador

@@YishaiBarr the files that have the music with the orchestra hit sounds were made for dev alignment, and the patterns were changed after. Pull up a no-hit of this fight and compare, the difference is noticeable in the later songs
