Underrated boss theme imo

It took about seven years for this fan game to come out, and you can just feel the love and effort coming from every corner when you play it, to the point where I consider it canon to the Undertale universe (as silly as that may sound). I can't even decide what my favorite boss theme is, although it does come down to Flowey's first phase, Ceroba's Kitsune Form, and Zenith Martlet's first phase (which is better than Megalovania IMO).

Wow 7 years? They really made it pay off and this ost is great full of awesome boss themes for sure this did felt a little bit canon As for my favorites they are definitely Martlet Pacifist, Flowey Phase 1, Dalv, Axis, Ceroba Kitsune Form, & Zenith Martlet Phase 1 gives me mega Man X vibes and I love it so much and definitely agree I think Megalovania is overrated tbh.

I do like Megalovania, and though it is overrated, overused, overblown, and so on, I do respect it's development (going from a Rom Hack to being in Smash Bros. is not something any song can do). Also, I've been planning on doing an All Boss Themes video of my own for a series, but due to how many games and songs there are in that franchise I'm unsure if it should be in one video or split up across some of the games.

@@sadmile506 hmmm the highest number for a video I've seen you do is around 6 hours how about if it gets to much split it into multiple parts and well I was thinking of combining all of it and send the full thing to you but I'm worried about the 12 hour limit so yeah I think splitting it would be fine if you can't go farther into the video length.

The cool thing is the fact that Undertale Yellow music is comprised of real instruments and synthesized tones and that makes it feel better than instrumental alone

My thoughts on each boss. Decibat: Looks like what happens if you canceled a Golbat's evolution into Crobat midway. Dalv: Someone on the team likes Adventure Time, calling it now. Also, Alucard backwards is... DRACULA?!! Martlet: Storm Eagle's lovable goofus of a second cousin... I mean, the guy who worked on her themes did a banger remix of Storm Eagle's theme that solely spawned a Terminalmontage animation of Storm Eagle and X having a music battle. El Bailador: The best character ever. The Feisty Four: Wait, is that Undyne's sister? AND A TANUKI?! Starlo: Yellow Fellow Redemption. Guardener: Castle in the Sky is my favorite Ghibli movie. Axis: Heh... Droids. Damaged Axis: Do robots feel fear? Ceroba: I suppose the saying "clever as a fox" doesn't apply here. Like why would you do an untested trial on your own child? I don't think monsters knew about the ruins entrance, or it would probably be guarded in case of humans falling down. Edit: In UTY, this is confirmed by Dalv in the Neutral/Pacifist route, where he says there are bo accessible entrances orther than the door of his house, but this could refer to accessing the Dark Ruins, the part of the Ruins where the vampire-like monster lives

I love how there are noticeable differences between paths in the boss themes, it's the essence of Undertale to use the Motiffs. I can notice it more in Marlet, that the instruments used in the Pacifist are in the Genocidal but they are very few. I interpret that to mean the fact that, genocidal or not, Marlet still thinks we're a very, very good person deep down.

I really feel like ''Tenth level lockdown'' doesn't really get much recognition for slapping THIS HARD while not even being the main boss of the area.... This ost is as good if not better than fever pitch to me. What was up in UTY developpment team, what was the decision that even not main bosses should get ABSOLUTE BANGERS ?!
