This is a solid bit of performing! The cello players really really pulled out all the stops! It kept pace the whole time, the articulation stayed short and punchy which really accented the syncopation and I could really feel shape and direction in the music. For non-musicians, performing isn't just reading notes and repeating them, you have to convey a sense of origination. As though you are forging an idea from nothing. You go to a beginner recital and it sounds "nice" because they're just doing what's on the page. These guys not only learned what's on the page, but they sat and analyzed how everything flowed together and harmonized and adjusted the articulation and dynamics to give you this life behind it, the ebb and flow. When you master this, you have the power to make your audience jump to their feet and cheer or bury their face in their hands and weep pure sorrow. This is a HARD skill to learn and when I used to teach I devoted hours and hours to this with only my top kids because to do it you HAVE to be able to do EVERYTHING else perfectly so you can free up your attention to focus on this. Please, tell Mr. Stasevskij and Mr. Helander that I truly enjoyed the hard work they put into making a performance out of a piece and I felt their energy and passion in my bones as I listened.

How do you guys "fund" these videos? They're amazing quality but sadly there doesn't seem to be a lot of traction. For example with the pokemon video, it was an amazing video but how? Do you guys just happen to have the correct equipment and skills for the correct circumstances? Either ways you all are amazing and I enjoy your videos greatly!
