I mean, adding a few lines of dialogue for that isn't that hard. If you make the puzzle actually functional you better make damn sure that the player can't get softlocked by succeeding or something like that xD If he added an entire story branch that played out slightly differently because mettaton wouldn't attack you after succeeding the puzzle then yeah that'd be dedication, but here it was kinda expected tbh. Finishing the puzzle on the other hand is extremely impressive!

I'm about to explain the rules from memory and based on the video Pink tiles do nothing, and red tiles you can't go on at all. Blue tiles are water and they have piranhas in them. Yellow tiles are electric and will electrocute you if you stand on them. If a yellow tile is next to a blue tile the blue tile will also shock you. Orange tiles make you smell like oranges which piranhas like, so they will try to bite you. Purple tiles are soap and will make you slide to the next tile. The soap smells like lemons which piranhas do not like, so they will leave you alone. And finally, green tiles will make you fight a monster.

Reminds me of my old deleted minecraft world in 2019 of September, where I was still new and was wondering around, and after some time, I found a ravine and decided to go in it. I was mining ores and minding my own business, until I found some weird brick stone constructed area. When I first saw it, I thought it was one of those minecraft building traps, just like the desert temples, and decided not to explore it yet, but to dig around it. I soon got hit by a silverfish and accidentally caused a army of silverfish to hit me around like that one sponge bob episode with the anchovies. I soon went out and said to myself, “I knew it was one of those traps!” before realizing a few months later that it was the stronghold and I found it randomly without any eyes, and the fact I deleted that seed makes me angry at himself till this day.

King Of Darkness It's all good. SPOILERS: All along, Alphys was teaming up with Mettaton by reactivating puzzles and having Mettaton "attack" us. If you pay attention to any of the Mettaton sequences, you can see Alphys stuttering or screwing up with what's actually happening, and Mettaton quickly covering her tracks to still make her look good

For those who doesn’t play the tile puzzle, here are the rules: Green: It’s safe. Red: Lava, do not touch it! Yellow: It’s gonna sting ya! (Thunder) Pink: Also safe! Blue: It’s safe too, but you can’t cross it if you’re orange-flavored. Purple: Like soap, slippery. But also resets your flavor! Orange: Step once, you can’t go through blue until you stepped on purple tile!

I watched you beat this impossible puzzle with stressful music and didn't feel a thing, then went to exit and realized my mouse wasn't working because I was using my drawing pad and I was in fullscreen and went full panic mode as the next video was about to play. *Ironic.*

Honestly the first time I didn't see it coming that Alphys set up Mettaton, but now when I look back at it, I'm like "HOW DID I MISS THAT?! THEY PRACTICALLY SHOVE IT DOWN YOUR THROAT!"

Its insane that the puzzle is actually beatable and that Toby Fox actually wrote unique dialogue for it even though literally less than 0.1% of players would ever see it.

It's fairly simple to beat this puzzle when you remember that you need to step on a purple tile before stepping into the water, I didn't beat it but I reached the pink hallway on my second playthrough

I would not have been surprised to hear "Out of the fire and in to me", ngl

I did It one time, but i was randomly runing kkkkk

Actually, the puzzle is static. It's designed in such a way that you have no choice but to step on a green tile. Although I suppose you could just stand still, waiting for the timer to run out, but idk if that has any different dialogue.
