it’s been years, and yet everytime Asriel says “You’re not actually Chara, are you? Chara’s been gone for a really long time.” i always cry.

This. This is what represents Undertale as a whole. The emotion, the gameplay, the great character and, most of all, the way you achieve this ending. Not by 100% like in some games, but by being nice to the characters. THIS shows how perfect Undertale is.

This whole this is one of my favorite scenes in Undertale (or maybe even most favorite) that was so emotional, and Asriel is my favorite boss. and before Asriel spending time with the friends I made, Sans, Toriel, Undyne, Papyrus, Alphys and Asgore, made me so happy. I love these characters so much and they mean a lot to me. They are my imaginary fictional friends (really) in this game they told me many positive messages that actually helped me irl. And I helped them too ofc. and Asriel was emotional too, very, i feel so sad that i couldn't truly save him and that he had to go back to being Flowey T^T i did hug him too, but i wanna hug him more. Asriel is now my 3rd favorite character, or 2nd, while the 1st one is Sans, because i also just really love Sans. (he is also my fictional crush btw) but I can't really decide. And because of this scene I don't hate Flowey anymore. The backstory is so dark and interesting. And on the Asriel fight, the soundtrack is my favorite. I love listening to it. And it was also so emotional when I was saving my friends when they were lost souls. I would give almost anything to live in the Undertale reality with Sans, Toriel, Papyrus, Alphys, Undyne, Asgore, and other monsters, and I wish Asriel was alive. Undertale always makes me so happy. This is literally the BEST game I ever played in my life, really, there is no other game like that. It's special, the style, characters, humor, story, EVERYTHING. I love everything about Undertale. Yeah I might be silly and cringey but idc, I just love this game so much. It means a lot to me. I love it so much, I often imagine myself in the underground with them, mostly with Sans, and his brother and my other imaginary friends (my OCs) and it makes me feel better! X3 (i finished the game yesterday btw)

Frisk is the most inspiring person ever. I haven't even experienced true pain, and after going through the worst pain possible and still being able to make people the best they can feel, is the most heart-touching thing ever. Combine this with the music and it's the saddest thing ever.

I feel like I have seen these exacts sprites In this exact scene while playing the game. My brain hurts. I genuinely remember these colored sprites being the ones in the real scene.

1:10 - 9:32 this cutscene looks WAY better with colors.

Apparently a fraction of Asriel's power does about as much damage per hit as a froggit.

A little detail I noticed; while unintentional, the colours that asriels second form uses are the same colours as ralsei and Susie even though deltarune didn’t come out for another 3 years. And the three colours the wings flash are also the colours of Ralsei Susie and Kris

Sans: being the most hard to beat character in Undertale Also sans: gets captured by some flower

You show PATIENCE towards Toriel when trying to convince her to let you leave. You show INTERGRITY when befriending Papyrus and taking the pacifist route for Sans. You show KINDNESS when Undyne desparetly needs water in Hotland. You show PERSEVERANCE when surviving Muffets greed for money. You show JUSTICE when helping Alphys tell Undyne the truth and helping Mettaton realize that the right thing to do is stay in the underground instead of going to surface because the monsters need him more than the humans do.
