Really wish it would have shown all her hair down before and after so that we could see the change and impact this cut made.
As a person with a "gnarly" hairline, I would have loved to see the end result of this cut.
I wanted to see how that haircut turned out :) but awesome tips

Me too ???
I'm with Samar on this one. I would love to see the finished product.
This is what I had been waiting to see. Great job. i do use thinning shear but in a different manner. Yours is the best. Thanks again.
He really is a lovely guy. I didn't learn much here, although he gave newbies some great tips. Wonderful teacher and very gentle hands, it seems. I just watched the whole clip because it was so nice. :)
I cut my own hair and this was actually pretty helpful. I couldn’t stop laughing when he kept saying gnarly hairline though. 😂
Lovely person and awesome teacher thank you
Andrew...thank you for the focus and great.presentaion skills including humour! Don't stop...lets see what.else you 've got to show us...your personality shines! Cheers...Ena.
Very informative, thanks
Thank you soooo much for making this video!!! I’ve been looking for a solution to my awful neckline cowlick! Can’t believe I found this!🥰👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
this is SO SO helpful for me. I have an insane neckline and my bobs can never lay flat in the back. I've been using a razor to thin out the hair back there and I go ham because I have thick hair too
Great JOB showing us this method. I had my under cut done in the early 80’s I have very THICK hair and it help, but it would have been better with this technique. I love the Bob’s MY personal favorite still. It never gets old.
Nice, I want to see the whole cut when finished!
Thanks, I plan on trying this
Good explanation! It makes sense! As a Master Stylist, I am doin the same with my Clients...
Awesome!
Dear Cosmetological Powers, I love watching your videos. You're like the Rockstar Bob Ross/Mr. Rodgers of hair. You combine professionalism, creativity, great explanations and humor. Your approach reinforces my belief that hair cutting is similar to surgery! Thank you!

Bridgette HellNeaux "You're like the Rockstar Bob Ross / Mr. Rodgers of hair." hahaha. That's a new one ... and you have quite the humor yourself :) Thanks for the comment! Andrew Carruthers
A blast from the past! I have zeeked my nape for a bob cut atleast 2 times when I was a teenager lml. This is so 2000s can't believe I'm saying that!
Finally someone who teaches how to do it, no hairstylist seems to understand a sleek Bob not a round puffy politician lady bob.. no offence to all the old ladies with a round puffy blob
Thank you
Nice technique! Wanted to see final result though!
The model in this was video is my girlfriend, I was quite pleased with the end result, it came out very good, great job!
This guy is talented and sweet . I would be very comfy having him do my hair.
Sam, awsome tips with lots of fast forward talks
You are awesome!
Great!

Oh, gosh! I thought Lauren was just a draped mannequin! LOL
the first technique was used on me yesterday but with a hair cutting razor and its sooo itchy!
I have a cowlick like hers and it gives my hair more body. I have had a hairdresser cut it off before like this guy did the model. Guess what--the hair above where she cut dropped down into the blank space left by the cut out. So I still had an uneven cowlick hairline with less hair on that side of my head. One side of my head had volume and on the side she removed the cowlick from was flat as a pancake. She did not ask me if she could do this. I was not happy. I have found the best way to cut my hair to get around this problem is have a barber take a V section of hair at the bottom on the middle and cut the hair at the bottom working outward from the V section on both sides. Unfortunately all the barber trained stylists I went to for years retired, so I havent had a good haircut since the 80s. Stylists that aren't barbers dont know what I'm talking about when I ask them to cut my hair using this technique. Linda Carne
Can you make a video to help some one cut a long bob on themselves?
Love love love this!!! Please cut my hair!!! I have her exact hairline only mine grows even further down my neck, I hate it!!!
Good :D
I like
Please can you show me the end result of this bob haircut
if you want the hairline gone just cut it off. haha. I really want to see the rest of this cut. it's an undercut alright... :)
well i really wanna have this hair cut but i have 5 times more hair than the model if not more.. so i really need to see it on a thick hair.. appreciate any good recommendations.

Thanks for the comment. Undercuts work very well on most thick hair... of course it depends a bit on your specific texture too. Consulting with a professional hairdresser in person will be your best bet.

@@samvillahair Do you know how hard it is to find a professional hairdresser who knows how to cut super thick hair??? It's a nightmare! They all want to either take a razor to it or thinning shears, neither of which work for my hair.
Where’s the rest of the video
OMG! She actually looks like a manikin head...o_o....
Cant you show how it turns out
we did not see ger final look!!
Wait, Where's the rest?? That's the easy part, I've been doing that for years, it's the next bit that's the troublemaker.. Would love to have seen how you blended the rest of her hair, especially as it looked like she had tons of it... End result please..
This was a bit traumatic, but interesting. :0)
Who's the girl? She looks just like me! :o Freaking out. haha
Not much point to this if you cannot see the end style
there are only Bob's you have nothing for long hair or medium hair
Sencillamente espantoso 😨
Seems Easier to just use the clippers for the undercut
Would have loved to see the blow out
LOL! Did you just call her hairline gnarly?
@JaneSmith0709

I have the exact same hairline and gnarly is the best word for it.
You talk too much...
