Managing by using fear/threats to get obedience is a very bad way to manage. The more nervous and anxious the employee feels, the more mistakes he/she makes.

A manager is supposed to help and being loyal to their employees, not treating them badly or pressuring them from their work.

I love the Undercover CEO nailing these rude managers! Great actors simulating some real life situations faced by employees who are powerless to stand up to their managers.

The workers are nervous, around that abusive manager good ridden, 😅

I know the acting’s not the best, but these situations are genuine and do happen in real life. Well done to them for highlighting them 👍🏼

This is just acting. Not real.

That Manager, good riddens and the heck with him. If, short staffed the Manager needs to help and be understanding. Emily was nervous and messing up because Manager was pressuring her. What a jerk, Manager was saying about being rude to a Customer and than fired her. I'm glad, Manager got fired and got karma so yay! the big boss Lady was there for sure.

So supportive management helps businesses succeed... not just fast service

While it was horrible the way that manager treated Emily, anyone in the culinary business, if having long hair, should have it tied back so it doesn't touch any food or kitchen equipment.

I laughed when he shouted there were rats in the back "that's right everybody, there's rats in here!" If you can't go classy, go trashy

I have worked in a Restaurant and few staff members use to treat me like dirt and embarrass me in front of diners and staff use to that deliberately to me.Thats why now I gave up working with toxic people in these environments

Emily was elderly, made the customer wait and had dressing down verbally!!! Her other colleague didn't know she was undercover to catch out this vile, unprofessional manager!!! He now threatened to fire her unaware of who she really is!!! Sam is the one getting the ax, he is too toxic!!! Say goodbye, Sam, Miranda fired you!!!

Man, I just love how the bad person in these videos learn their lesson at the end. Yes, I am being sarcastic. A typical ending to a Supermission video: Customer turns out to be CEO of the company, fires rude employee, rude employee gets all mad and throws and insults the business and storms out. Where is the part where the rude manager "learns their lesson"? Because so far, I haven't seen it anywhere. A better ending will be him trying to find a job and ending up bussing tables at a restaurant and having to deal with a manager who treats him even worse than the way he treated Emily. Then you can say he learned his lesson.

The Manager Need to be replaced.

And with that, Emily's integrity and compassion impressed Ms. Clarkson so much, that she was promoted to manager with a salary raise and a $25,000 check. It was enough to care for her baby, and keep her house. As for the rude manager, HR told him that he's publicly forbidden to manage in workplaces ever again due to his arrogant overbearing ego. He efforts to find another job were fruitless due to his overheated personality. After months of being unemployed, he lost his house to foreclosure, and had no place to go other than the homeless shelter.

I have worked with some really great managers over the years in jobs one of them I even dated they care about their employees and their not always sitting in the office doing nothing they have one of the hardest jobs hiring and firing people and keeping the company together there the ones who get all the crap when it goes wrong respect to all managers out there.
