Both of my parents works there at Kennedy area for nearly 15 years now. I am grateful for this company as they helped them with employment since moving here to Ontario from Newfoundland where we owned a Chinese takeout restaurant and since my mom struggle with the language barriers, I wouldn't know what she would do.

There multi-million / billion dollar businesses and they put out this propaganda. The one lady who gets to take a pastry chef class paid for by the company, that's a nice start. She gets to go on vacation but yet she has to visit pastry stores so it's really not a vacation. Every one of the employees that were shown on her show should have received at least 25,000 each. 8, for the one guy will buy a nice bed. To me that was an insult. I'd be embarrassed to give such a cheap gift. Flying the family in, that's nice but she really could have done more. How about hiring more staff so that her employees don't have to work like dogs.

Fired them and got new. Wages then in early 1970's was locally $3.50-$6. I payed $10-35 hr depending on skill and speed required. NON of the women ever failed to deliver; if they could Not do a job they set others to the tasks without bugging me about it. Praises to staff that see a problem and speak up.

I have seen many of the Undercover Boss shows, but this one is the only one that is worth mentioning as of now. The care and emotional well-being of your employees is amazing. The high standards you have for your company is a reflection that shines through the employees. Your goals and their goals are the same. That is important in the longevity of a business. Your mother's dream has become a reality because of the employees. That is very apparent through you looking at the business from their perspective. All employees should be able to communicate with the CEO or Operational Manager on the corporate level without being afraid. Good for you. Finding this out will make your business flourish.

This made my heart is happy. I wish more businesses would take the time to know its employees. We have a 99 Ranch that we visit from time to time, but it is a long drive to get there. I wish we had an Asian market that was closer. Maybe T&T could open up in the U.S.! Wanting to open up to English speaking costumers felt good. Going to 99 Ranch, I never know if we are wanted there or not. Having signage in English would be so helpful to us. We love trying new foods, but not knowing what products are or how to prepare them is the main reason we do not purchase. I also have Celiac and would like to see Gluten Free prepared products labeled so we in this community know if they are safe to eat. Love this show and would like to see more like it! Thank you!
